The Clinical Curative Effect Of Runtong Decoction In The Treatment Of Functional Constipation With Yin Deficiency

Objectives:For the increasing of functional constipation patients year by year,by studying the clinical curative effect of Runtong Decoction in the treatment of functional constipation with Yin Deficiency and comparing the change of the quality of life score before and after treatment,to evaluate the curative effect and safety of Runtong Decoction.lt is a good way to further explore the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of the disease and it can not only improve the clinical curative effect,but the patient's quality of life.Methods:A randomized,placebo-controlled trial was conducted in this study.In accord with the standard set of functional constipation patients,there are 88 cases of Yin deficiency type that were included in this observation and they were assigned to the treatment group and the control group(n=44).Experimental observation time was 10 weeks,including 2-week washout period,4-week treatment period and 4-week follow-up period.Patients of the two groups need to finish a patient assessment of constipation quality of life scale(PAC-QOL)before treatment and after four-weeks treatment of constipation.During treatment,patients in the treatment group were given the Runtong Decoction and patients in the control group were given Bacillus Subtilis Duplex living bacterium enteric Capsules and Mosapride Citrate Tablets on the basis of life conditioning.Period of the treatment is four weeks.During the follow-up period,the two groups continued to base on the life conditioning and stopped drug treatment.The improvement of clinical symptoms and the quality of life before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.The adverse reaction was observed during the drug intervention to evaluate the safety.The patients were followed up for 4 weeks,and the long-term adverse events were observed to evaluate the safety and recurrence of functional constipation.Results:1.Total 88 patients were included in the study.One case fell out of the treatment group and three cases fell out of the control group.Finally,84 patients finished the clinical observation,with the falling rate of 5%.2.Treatment group and control group before and after treatment of clinical symptoms were statistically significant(P<0.05).Clinical symptoms of all the patients in the treatment group and the control group were both improved in a certain degree.The compare of two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05)in the quality of life score.The first defecation time after treatment and defecation times after 2 weeks and 4 weeks after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.05).Two groups after treatment in patients with fecal traits are statistically significant(P<0.05).Recurrence in treatment group were significantly lower than the control group,compared the two groups have significant difference(P<0.05).3.In the process of treatment,the complete clinical observation of 84 cases of patients with no adverse events occurred.There are no abnormalities in blood routine,stool routine,biochemistry analysis and electrocardiogram.Conclusion:1.Runtong Decoction can not only evidently improve the relevant clinical symptoms of functional constipation with Yin Deficiency,but also shorten the defecation time.It can increase the frequency of defecation and improve fecal traits.It has the advantage of high efficiency and low recurrence rate.It can improve the living quality of patients.2.There was no adverse events during the treatment process of Runtong Decoction,so it is safe.
