Correlative Analysis Among Metastasis Site,TCM Syndromes And TCM Constitutional Types In Cases Of Stage ? Colorectal Carcinoma

Objective:?To research the distribution of TCM syndromes and TCM constitutional types in cases of stage IV colorectal carcinoma. ? To research the correlative among metastasis sites, TCM syndromes and TCM constitutional types in cases of stage IV colorectal carcinoma.? Approach the inner link of disease, TCM constitutional types and TCM syndromes based on the constitution theory of TCM, to provide references for diagnosis and treatment of TCM on stage IV colorectal carcinoma.Methods:Set up questionnaire on the basic information and the relevant information of the disease on patients with colorectal carcinoma according to the analysis of literatures for the past few years. Make clinical survey on those patients with colorectal carcinoma who match the condition of this study, take statistics and analyze the distribution of TCM syndromes and TCM constitutional types in cases of stage IV colorectal carcinoma and then approach the inner link of disease, TCM constitutional types and TCM syndromes based on the constitution theory of TCM reference to the Constitution in TCM questionnaire that issued by China Association for Traditional Chinese Medicine,Results:1. Among the stage IV colorectal carcinoma patients, spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome and yang deficiency of spleen and kidney syndrome are the top 2 syndromes and each accounted for 39.10% and 14.10%.2. Most TCM constitutional types of stage IV colorectal carcinoma patients are multiple, which accounted for 85.90%,and the top 4 Constitutions are Qi-deficient Constitution. Stagnant Qi Constitution, Phlegm-dampness Constitution and Yang-deficient Constitution, each accounted for 29.94%,17.83%?15.29%?11.46%.3. TCM syndrome types and TCM constitution exist significant correlation (P<0.01).4. Patients with spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome have more opportunists to have metastasis in liver(P<0.01). Patients with Qi-deficient Constitution have more opportunists to have metastasis in lung(P<0.05). Patients with blood stasis and toxin resistance syndrome have more opportunists to have metastasis in abdominal(P<0.05).Patients with smoking history have more opportunists to have metastasis in lung (P<0.05). Patients with history of alcohol intake have more opportunists to have spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome (P<0.05).Conclusions:1.Among the stage IV colorectal carcinoma patients, spleen deficiency and qi stagnation syndrome and yang deficiency of spleen and kidney syndrome are the top 2 syndromes. The major syndrome type of stage ? colorectal cancer patients is vital-qi deficiency, and spleen deficiency is the core factors.2. The top 4 Constitutions are Qi-deficient Constitution, Stagnant Qi Constitution, Phlegm-dampness Constitution and Yang-deficient Constitution.3. TCM syndrome types and TCM constitution exist significant correlation, prompt that we should pay close attention to patients'constitutional types while we practice dialectical theory of governance.4.There are correlations between TCM syndrome types, TCM constitution exist correlation and metastasis place on colorectal carcinoma patients, because of the adjustment possibility of TCM constitutional types, we can prevent or put off the metastasis of colorectal carcinoma to prolong survival time and life quality of patients.
