Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of method of clearing the.lung and stomachin the treatment of Mycoplasma pneumonia in children with wind-heat closed lung, so as to better apply TCM to clinical treatment of mycoplasmal pneumonia in children. Methods:Sixty children hospitalized in JIANGYIN HOSPITAL OF TCM with wind-heat closed pulmonary MPP were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with azithromycin intravenously, and the treatment group was given clearing the lung and stomach treatment on the basis of the control group. Both groups were treated for 10 days. The symptoms and signs of the two groups were quantified and the points before and after treatment are compared. At the same time, the time of improvement of symptoms and signs, the total effective rate and so on were analyzed statistically so as to compare the curative effect of the two groups. Results:The total effective rate of the treatment group and the control group were 100% and 96.7% respectively. Statistically, the rate of recovery was significantly different (P<0.01). The treatment group was superior to the control group in the comprehensive curative effect. There was significant difference (P<0.05) between the treatment group and the control group in the improvement of fever, cough, expectoration, shortness of breath and lung auscultation. The treatment group was better than the control group in the loss of appetite, thirst and tongue abnormalities, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion:Clearing the lung and stomach combined with azithromycin in the treatment of children's wind-heat closed lung MPP has obvious advantages over simple application of azithromycin,it can improve the efficacy and effectively improve symptoms and signs. |
