Edema refers to the phenomenon that fluid retention in human’s tissuel space leads to swelling of the tissues and organs. It is a manifestation of systemic dysfunction gasification, usually indicating disease (such as heart failure, renal failure). Bioimpedance measuring technique has been widely used in clinical practice due to its’features such as safety non-invasive, accurate measurement and information-rich. It’s very valuable to combine bioimpedance measuring technique with the detection of edema to research the bioimpedance change of the tissue edema of heart failure and hemodialysis patients. By this way, the health status of heart failure and hemodialysis patients can be monitored timely.The remote monitoring and service platform for heart failure, hemodialysis patients based on bioimpedance edema detection consists of two main parts, bioelectrical impedance measuring system and doctor-patient communication platform. The former is the core part, and the latter is the main one. Bioelectrical impedance measuring system comprises hardware circuits, software systems, and edema guardianship client components. Hardware circuit is divided into wireless communications, microprocessors, amplitude-phase signal detection, DDS current excitation module and amplitude-phase signal processing module. DDS excitation current is inputed by measuring electrode, then amplitude and phase detection module measure multifrequency local bioimpedance of users. After passing amplitude-phase signal processing module, the measurement signal is transmitted to the Android client via Bluetooth, which could real-time display. The communication platform including platform login, user information management and medical communication based on Ali cloud server. Experts according to the user upload information to build a large data model of physiological parameters of the patient, the patient’s recovery programme accords to guidance of experts.The thesis uses bioelectrical impedance measuring system to measure 30 patients’ calf bioimpedance and record information related impedance. We use the amount of dehydration edema to characterize the degree of edema and use the rate of change in the impedance magnitude to show the change of bioimpedance. By studying the relationship between the edema degree of measured tissue and bioimpedance change, we search for clinical monitoring indicators of heart failure, hemodialysis patients.The results show that:the amplitude value of the bioimpedance measurement decreases with increasing degree of edema. When the degree of edema is serious, general and slight, the corresponding rate of change in the impedance magnitude show significant differences. This result can be used as a preliminary assessment indicators of heart failure, hemodialysis patients with clinical treatment. Experimental research not only has great application prospects in clinically real-time monitoring and effective prognosis for heart failure, hemodialysis patients. It also has great significance to monitor the health status of elderly population and the state of motion of ordinary people.
