Objective: To observe the biochemical Decoction clinical efficacy and safety in the treatment of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis(NASH), to investigate the theoretical and practical basis of theory for prevention and treatment of fatty liver disorder of Qi, blood, body fluid metabolism. Methods: to conform to the standards of the 60 cases of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis patients as the research object, randomly divided into test group(Shenghua Decoction) and control group(silibinin capsule) 30 cases each, total course of treatment for three months and compared between the two groups before and after treatment in patients with clinical evidence climate, body mass index, serum liver enzyme(alt, AST,GGT), blood lipid(TC, TG), blood glucose, blood pressure and uric acid, liver ultrasound to improve the situation. Results: after treatment, the indexes of the two groups were improved in different degrees(P < 0.05 or P < 0.010). In the two groups, there was no significant difference in the improvement of serum liver enzyme and liver ultrasonography(P > 0.05), and the other indexes were better than those of the control group(P < 0.05 or P < 0.010).Conclusion: biochemical decoction has definite therapeutic effect on patients with non alcoholic fatty hepatitis, and can be used as a safe and effective prescription for clinical treatment. The metabolism ofblood and body fluid imbalance theory can effectively guide the clinical prevention and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine of nonalcoholic steatohepatitis.
