Objective: According to the Taiwan central region of Taichung City, Zhanghua City, Nantou City of primary dysmenorrhea investigation, preliminary discussion primary etiology and pathogenesis of dysmenorrheal, dysmenorrheal treatment, alleviate dysmenorrheal and TCM syndrome classification, prevention and treatment of primary dysmenorrheal to provide reference.Methods: In Zhanghua city Jiu-Da Chinese medicine clinic, Taichung City Li-Ming Chinese medical clinic, Dong-Feng Chinese medical clinic, Nantou City Yong-Sheng Chinese medical clinic, in female patients were questionnaire, with primary dysmenorrhea women as the Dysmenorrhea group, with no dysmenorrhea women as control group. After numerical quantification, the collected questionnaire data input, the data are coded and input to a computer for processing, uses the software SPSS 17.0 statistical software package to establish a database, using statistical methods, data analysis and correlation are discussed in the paper, to get research results. Generally, the number of according to using frequency method, count data using chi square test, P < 0.05, the difference was statistically significant, P > 0.05 for there was no statistically significant difference.Result:(1)The average age of primary dysmenorrhea patients was 26.83 + 12.14 years old. Among them, 22 to 28 years old(72 cases, accounting for 41.14%) were the most.;(2)Dysmenorrhea group and the non-primary dysmenorrhea group in age at menarche, menstrual cycle, the days, the color, the amount of, the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05); dysmenorrhea group and the non-primary dysmenorrhea group in the menstrual blood clots difference has statistical significance(P < 0.05);(3)Compared with the family history of dysmenorrhea group, the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05);(4)Dysmenorrhea group and the non-primary dysmenorrhea group in eating habits?cold drink habits, There was no significant difference between dysmenorrhea group and control group(P > 0.05) the difference was not statistically significant(P > 0.05);(5)Dysmenorrhea medicine treatment methods: surveys show that women's dysmenorrhea treatment method with hot water bag is deposited in the lower abdomen most(34.8%), followed by taking painkillers, 30.3%, of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine treatment were only 14.3% and 2.3%. Thus, dysmenorrhea patients many self treatment of dysmenorrhea discomfort, only a small part of the willing to attending treatment; for dysmenorrhea treatment of traditional Chinese medicine in traditional Chinese medicine, 88.0%; the use of acupuncture only accounted for 12.0%;(6)The degree of dysmenorrhea analysis: dysmenorrhea with moderate, accounted for the overall number of dysmenorrhea 54.9%, followed by mild 36.0%, severe 9.1%;(7)This investigation of syndrome differentiation typing to damp heat and blood stasis type, accounting for 32.6%, followed by 27.4%(the type of cold coagulation and blood stasis, qi stagnation and blood stasis type of 22.3%, 14.3%, the type of deficiency of Qi and blood, liver and kidney deficiency type accounted for only 3.4%.Conclusion: Primary dysmenorrhea is a common gynecological disease, disease, is a common cause of impact on women's work and the quality of life, with the increase of the social pressure and accelerate the pace of life, the incidence of dysmenorrhea rate showed a rising trend. The survey results show that primary dysmenorrhea and family history, has nothing to do with eating habits; in central area of Taiwan Primary Dysmenorrhea in type of damp heat and blood stasis is the most common.
