Clinical Observation Of The Efficacy Of Fangfengtongsheng-Wan Cure The Pure Obesity Patients And Its Impacts On LP And APN

Objective:Explore the mechanism of fangfengtongsheng-wan on the spread of leptin (LP) and action of adiponectin (APN) by observing fangfengtongsheng-wan's treatment of simple obesity,which providing a theoretical basis and new ideas for traditional Chinese medicine treatment of simple obesity.Methods:The 72 cases of obesity patients which meet the inclusion criteria are randomly divided into two groups,which are traditional Chinese treatment group and control group,and 36 cases are in each group.The traditional Chinese treatment group receives basic treatment combined with fangfengtongsheng-wan,and the control group only receives basic treatment including diet control, appropriate aerobic exercise and health education.Each group gets a course of treatment for 3 months.Then the experiment results of this two groups above are observed after treatment, which includes TCM symptom score,clinical sign,body weight,BMI,WHR,blood fat (including TG,TC,LDL-C),LP and APN.Result:1. In terms of signs and symptoms improvement and traditional Chinese medicine symptoms, the efficacy are compared between the Chinese medicine treatment group and control group.As a result the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05). The symptoms integral have significant differences when comparing the traditional Chinese medicine treatment group after treatment and before(P<0.01).The symptoms of thirsty-drinking-like dry mouth bad breath upset constipation and get hungry quickly of two groups are compared before and after treatment within the group, P<0.01 are significantly different.These indicators are compared after treatment between treatment group and control group, P<0.05 are significantly different.2. The indicators of body weight, BMI, waist-to-hip ratio are compared before and after treatment within the traditional Chinese medicine group, whose curative effect is better than the control group,P<0.05 are significantly different.3. Two groups indicators of LDL-C are compared after and before the treatment within each group,P>0.05 are not statistically significant. But in the aspects of serum TC and serum TG, P<0.01 are significantly different after and before the treatment within the group of traditional Chinese group, and P<0.05 are significantly different within the control group. And P<0.05 are statistically significant between the traditional Chinese group and control group.4. The indicators of LP and APN are compared after and before treatment, P<0.01 are significantly different within the traditional Chinese group, and P<0.05 are statistically significant within the control group. And P<0.05 are statistically significant between the traditional Chinese group and control group.5. Two groups indicators of blood routine examination, urine routine examination, stool routine examination, liver function and renal function are compared before and after treatment within each group, P>0.05 are not significantly different.Conclusion:1. Fangfengtongsheng-wan can significantly improve the clinical TCM symptoms and physical signs of patients with simple obesity of damp heat of spleen and stomach type.2. Using fangfengtongsheng-wan to treat patients with simple obesity of damp heat of spleen and stomach type can significantly reduce body weight,the value of BMI, waist-to-hip ratio and lower the level of TG,TC in serum.3. Fangfengtongsheng-wan can obviously decrease the LP levels of the spleen heat syndrome in patients and can increase the level of APN significantly with simple obesity.
