The Mechanism Of GLP-1 On "Lian Zhu Xiaoke Prescription" The Treatment Of Phlegm Heat Type Of Xiaoke (Type 2 Diabetes) Clinical Research

Objective: By observing 66 cases of phlegm heat stasis type of xiaoke(type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM)in patients with clinical efficacy,evaluating even with Lian Zhu Xiaoke Prescription ' s mechanism and safety,providing a new method of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of diabetes.Methods: 66 patients with T2 DM were randomly selected from the Department of Endocrinology,Kaifeng Hospital of traditional Chinese medicine.All patients were given the basical knowledge of diabetes education,a reasonable diet and exercise prescription.In the basical treatment under the premise,discontinuation of oral antidiabetic drug after two weeks,Lian Zhu Xiaoke Prescription granule twice a day.According to the actual situation of drug dosage increase or decrease.The period of observation was one month.The changes were observed before and after treatment on patients with clinical symptoms,fasting and postprandial 2H plasma glucose,fructosamine(FMN),glucagon insulin-like peptide 1(GLP-1),total cholesterol(TC),glycerin(TG),high density lipoprotein(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein(LDL-C).Results: 1.The total curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine before and after treatment was 95.3%.The patient's symptom score after treatment was significantly lower than that of the treatment period(P<0.05).2.After the treatment,the levels of 2h BG,FBG and FMN were significantly lower compared with before treatment(P < 0.05)..3.After treatment,the level of FGLP-1 and 2h GLP-1 in patients was significantly higher than that before treatment,statistically significant difference(P < 0.05).4.After treatment,the reduce on patients with TC,TG,LDL-C levels compared with before treatment,the difference was significant(P < 0.05),and HDL-C levels after treatment was significantly higher than before treatment(P < 0.05).5.The treatment process the blood,urine,stool routine test and liver and kidney function tests of the patients in did not appear obviously abnormal.Conclusion: Lian Zhu Xiaoke Prescription on patients of phlegm heat stasis type of xiaoke with symptoms and signs,could play a good role in the improvement of elevating levels of GLP-1,could decrease the level of blood glucose and FMN,also could effectively regulate the disturbance of lipid metabolism.And even we preliminary considerate there was a connection between hypoglycemic mechanism and GLP-1 operation of the elevated level of diabetes.
