Clinical Efficacy Of Prescription Of LianZhu In Treatment Of Insulin Resistance In Type 2 Diabetes (Phlegm-heat Syndrome)

Objective:To observe this clinical effect of Prescription of Lian Zhu in the treatment of insulin resistance in type 2 diabetes(phlegm-heat syndrome).By the statistics to reveal the possible mechanism of Prescription of Lian Zhu.Provide new ideas and methods for the treatment in insulin resistance of Chinese medicine.Methods:66 eligible patients were randomly selected in the outpatient department of Endocrinology in Kaifeng TCM hospital.During the 3 months of the study,patients were randomly assigned to the treatment group and control group.Two groups both were given the basic knowledge of diabetes education,dietary and exercise prescription reasonable.Except for the foundation treatment,only the treatment group were given this Prescription of Lian Zhu.Hb A1 c,HOMA-IR,I,TC,TG,HDL-C and LDL-C were observed and recorded before and after treatment in the two groups.Results:1.The total effective rate of the treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.01).2.The TCM symptom score was significantly decreased after treatment in the two groups,the treatment group was more obvious(P < 0.01);after the end of treatment,group between TCM symptom score compared treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference is significant(P < 0.01).3.Two groups both could decrease the FPG,2h PG,Hb A1 c after treatment,in the same group,FPG,2h PG,Hb A1 c was significant difference(P < 0.01,P < 0.05);but the treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.01).After treatment,there was no significant difference in Hb A1 C between the two groups(P>0.05).4.The two groups both can reduce F-ins,HOMA-IR after treatment,and there is a significant difference(P < 0.01,P < 0.05)within the same group comparison.The comparison between the two groups after treatment of F-ins, the treatment group was better than that of the control group,the difference has statistical significance(P < 0.05);between the two groups after treatment about HOMA-IR,the treatment group was better than the control group,the difference is statistically significant(P < 0.01).5.Two groups both can decrease TC,TG,LDL-C and the treatment group could increase HDL-C,the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).6.During the treatment,there was no obvious abnormal in the tests of blood-urine-stool routine,liver and kidney tissues.Conclusion:Prescription of Lian Zhu could significantly alleviate the signs and symptoms of T2 DM.Hb A1 c,HOMA-IR,I,TC,TG and LDL-C were decreased more obviously in this treatment group.Prescription of Lian Zhu is advantageous in the treatment of insulin resistance of diabetes type 2 as compared with the simple foundationnal treatment.The possible machanism of Lian Zhu-Prescription is to relieve insulin resistance to decrease blood glucose.
