Objective: To explore the therapeutic effect of Shu Xi Tong Bi Decoction that based on the clinical experience of tutor on treatment of acute synovitis of knee.Methods: 40 rabbits were randomly divided into four groups: the blank control group,the model control group,the positive control group(Hua Mo Yan particle group),the experimental group(neck Shu Xi Tong Bi Decoction group).Each group had 10 rabbits.4% papain was injected into knee-joint of these rabbits to make experimental models and then gavage method was given to rabbit models.The rabbits of the blank control group and the model control group were poured into saline.The rabbits of positive control group were filled with Shu Xi Tong Bi Decoction.And the dissolved Hua Mo Yan particles were given orally to the rabbits of the positive group.Experimental group was given by 11.15g/kg body weight(equivalent to 1.115g/ml liquid 10ml/kg),positive control group was administered by 1.68g/kg body weight(equivalent to 0.168g/ml liquid 10ml/kg),blank control group and model group were given equal volume of saline(10ml/kg)orally.A time a day,a total of fourteen days.On Day 15,it is necessary to observe the swelling degree of knee joint of rabbits and to measure the surface temperature and Circumference of them.All the rabbit models were put to death after this experiment.And then inflammatory factor for knee joint effusion(IL-1 TNF alpha and beta)was detected and synovial HE was stained by the author.After organizing all data,spss17.0 statistical software was employed by author oh this study.Results:(1)The three groups of acute knee joint synovitis of rabbit models were copied successfully.Due to environment,transport and raising issues,just two of them were died.(2)Comparison of the the knee circumference between blank control group and model group(P<0.05),there were statistically significant.Model group and positive control group(P<0.05),there were statistically significant.Positive control group and treatment group(P>0.05),there were not statistically significant.(3)Comparison of the surface temperature of rabbit between blank control group and model group(P<0.05),there were statistically significant.Model group and positive control group(P<0.05),there were statistically significant.Positive control group and treatment group(P>0.05),there were not statistically significant.(4)Comparison of the IL-1? and TNF-? of joint effusions between blank control group and model group(P<0.05),there were statistically significant.Model group and positive control group(P<0.05),there were statistically significant.Positive control group and treatment group(P>0.05),there were not statistically significant.(5)Comparison of the HE stain of synovitis between blank control group and model group(P<0.05),there were statistically significant.Model group and positive control group(P<0.05),there were statistically significant.Positive control group and treatment group(P>0.05),there were not statistically significant.Conclusion:1.The knee joint of rabbit was injected with papain and successfuly made the knee joint synovitis model.2.Through data statistical and comparative analysis of model group and treatment group,it can be concluded that Shu Xi Tong Bi Decoction has good effect on acute synovitis in the treatment of rabbit knee joint.
