[Objective]This topic through observing curative-effect comparison Electro-Acupuncture in External Auditory Canal therapy with common acupuncture to treat Shoulder-Hand Syndrome after stoke, providing new therapies and new ideas for clinical treatment of Shoulder-Hand Syndrome.[Methods]Totally 60 patients after stroke according the Inclusion Criteria were assigned two groups, treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group. The control group was treated by common acupuncture plus basic treatment and the treatment group increased the Electro-Acupuncture in External on the basis of the control group.1 times per day,7 days for one course, courses interval to 1 day, a total of 2 courses.The effect of two groups was evaluated by Shoulder-Hand Sydrome evaluation scaleCKozin standard), simplified Fugel-Meyer upper limb movement function assessment scale (FMA), Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Visual Analogue Score (VAS).[Results](1) The Kozin score has obvious reduction in each group (P<0.01), but the reduction of the treatment group is more significant than the control group (P<0.01);(2) The simplified FMA score has obvious increase (P<0.01), but the increase of the treatment group is more significant than the control group (P <0.01);(3) The BI score has obvious increase (P<0.01), but the increase of the treatment group is more significant than the control group (P<0.01);(4) The VAS score has obvious reduction in each group (P<0.01), but the reduction of the treatment group is more significant than the control group (P<0.05)[Conclusion](1) The therapy of Electro-Acupuncture in External Auditory Canal could obviously improve the patients' symptoms of upper limb pain, swelling, joints activities, upper limb movement function of Shoulder-Hand Syndrome after stroke and Activities of Daily Living (ADL);(2) The clinical effect of Electro-Acupuncture in External Auditory Canal on treating Shoulder-Hand Syndrome after stroke was better than common acupuncture.
