ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of warming needle moxibustion in treating post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome (1st stage), compare the therapy of warming needle moxibustion group with Electro-acupuncture control group at the quality of clinical efficacy, and raise the optimize proprosal of acupuncture moxibustion. Explore the mechanism and the promotional value.MethodsAccording to the Diagnostic Inclusion and Exclusion criteria of poststroke shoulder-hand syndrome,60cases of poststroke shoulder-hand syndrome were randomly divided into a Treatment Group (30cases) and a Control Group (30cases). Routine treatments for cerebrovascular diseases including western medicine and acupuncture were applied as primary treatment in both groups. Addtionally, the treatment group was treated by warming needle moxibustion and the control group with Electro-acupuncture every day for14days as a course. To observe and evaluate the efficacy of warming needle moxibustion in alleviating pain, reducing edema and improving upper limb motion function. Visual analogue scale, Fugl-Meyer test (upper limb), Shoulder hand syndrome score were observed, which is the authority of domestic and international. All adverse events occurred during treatment will be recorded for statistical analysis.ResultsTested by chi-square test and t inspection(P>0.05),the baseline informations (Sex; Age; Course of disease; pathogenicity; Visual analogue scale; Fugl-Meyer test; Shoulder hand syndrome score) of the two groups patients before treatment are comparable. The Visual analogue scale, Fugl Meyer test (upper limb) and Shoulder hand syndrome score showed that scores after treatment were improved in both groups, but the magnitudes were greater in the Treatment Goup. Indicate that warming needle moxibustion can effectively alleviate pain, reduce edema and improve upper limb motion function of post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome (1st stage), had better effect than the control group. Provide a safe, reliable efficacy studies for the clinical treatment of shoulder-hand syndrome.Conclusionwarming needle moxibustion can effectively alleviate pain, improve motion function and reduce edema. Both the therapy of warming needle moxibustion group and Electro-acupuncture treatment group have remarkable effect in treating post-stroke shoulder-hand syndrome (1st stage), Both methods can alleviate pain、reduce edema and enhance motor function. After treatment, the overall efficacy of the treatment group was better than the control group and the treatment group had a more obvious improvement in alleviating pain、reducing edema and enhancing motor function. Comparing the two groups with each other, the difference was statistically significant.
