MTrP theory is the core theory of western acupuncture, Acupotomy therapy have good effect in the treatment of soft tissue diseases. The clinical research starts from the combine of the three elements, observe the clinical effect treated by Acupotomy and under the guidance of MTrP, finding the evaluation that come from the combining of MTrP and Acupotomy. promote the theoretical exploration of MTrP theory, also provide reference basis for the diversification of Acupotomy therapy. besides, it also can broaden the methods in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.MethodsIn this study, according to the test standards, we choose patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy who satisfy the requirements of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy, and divided the patients into two groups which called Acupotomy group and electric acupuncture group by the number of people’s order.30people in each group, people would get the treatment of Acupotomy and electric acupuncture separately. using observational studies and single blind random control study, observe the state, see is there any improvement before treatment and after treatment judged by the records of VAS numbness, pain, sleep score and the signs and symptoms score, observation curative effect evaluation based on the1995national administration of traditional Chinese medicine in the diagnosis of disease and curative effect of TCM standards and reference to the curative effect evaluation of cervical spondylosis research and formulate related curative standard. Data using SPSS19.0statistical software for processing.ResultAcupotomy group have30cases, after the treatment,9cases recovered,20patients had effect,1case had no effect, total effective rate was96.67%; The electro-acupuncture group of30cases, after treatment,7cases recovered,22cases had effect, lcase had no effect, total effective rate was96.67%; As you can see the Acupotomy group and the electro-acupuncture group have no difference between the total effective rate.In the pain score, before treatment, scores tested by the independent sample t test, P=0.86, P>0.05, there was no significant statistical difference about the pain between the two group, they are comparable; After treatment scores tested by the independent sample t test, P=0.01, P<0.05, indicating that there was significant statistical difference about the pain between the two group after treatment, and Acupotomy group have better effect than electric acupuncture group in relieving pain.In the numb score, before treatment, scores tested by the independent sample t test, P=0.78, P>0.05, there was no significant statistical difference about the numb between the two group, they are comparable; After treatment scores tested by the independent sample t test, P=0.04, P<0.05, indicating that there was significant statistical difference about the numb between the two group after treatment, and Acupotomy group have better effect than electric acupuncture group in relieving numb.In the signs and symptoms score, before treatment, scores tested by the independent sample t test, P=0.92, P>0.05, there was no significant statistical difference about the signs and symptoms score between the two group, they are comparable; After treatment scores tested by the independent sample t test, P=0.04, P<0.05, indicating that there was significant statistical difference about the signs and symptoms between the two group after treatment, and Acupotomy group have better effect than electric acupuncture group in relieving signs and symptoms. In the sleep score, before treatment, scores tested by the independent sample t test, P=0.68, P>0.05, there was no significant statistical difference about the sleep between the two group, they are comparable; After treatment scores tested by the independent sample t test, P=0.03, P<0.05, indicating that there was significant statistical difference about the sleep between the two group after treatment, and electric acupuncture group have better effect than Acupotomy group in relieving sleep.Conclusion(1) MTrP Acupotomy therapy can effectively treat the disease of cervical spondylosis radiculopathy.(2) Compared with traditional body acupuncture and electro-acupuncture, MTrP Acupotomy therapy is superior to the traditional acupuncture plus electro-acupuncture therapy in relieving the patient’s pain and numbness as well as recovery of patients’signs and symptoms; conventional electro-acupuncture therapy can improve the patient’s sleep, which is better than MTrP Acupotomy therapy...
