Objective: To investigate the diagnostic value of DWI imaging in the placenta implantation, and to analyze diagnostic efficiency compared with conventional T2 WI.Material and method: 45 patients with placenta implantation from June 2013 to 2015 August were enrolled in this study. All of the patients had undergone conventional T2 WI and DWI examinations. Using variance analysis to compare the different b value group between the signal intensity of placenta implantation and uterine muscle wall region signal intensity ratio. Using the pathological diagnosis as the standard, we selected the highest Si ratio b value group to compare with the conventional T2 WI group.Results: Of the 45 patients, 12 were adhesive placenta, 21 were implanted placenta, and 12 were penetrating placenta. When the b value of 1000s/mm2, placenta implantation and uterine muscle wall region of the Si ratio was the highest(5.87 + 1.25), which was higher than b value of 0s/mm2, and 500s/mm2(P < 0.05). When the b value of 1000s/mm2, the DWI images for placenta accreta was similar to conventional T2 WI, but for placenta accreta and placenta percreta, DWI was better than conventional T2 WI.Conclusions: When the b value of 1000s/mm, the DWI for placenta implantation has high display effect and more clinical diagnostic value than conventional T2 WI, which provide a reliable basis for clinical treatment.
