Modified Danzhi Xiaoyaosan Decoction On Insomnia Of Liver Depression Of The Fire

Objective:To observe the effect of Modified Danzhi Xiaoyaosan Decoction on insomnia of liver depression of the fire type and try to explore the mechanism of treatment,which provid new idea for the treatment of insomnia.Methods: 60 insomnia cases(by CCMD-3) of liver depression of the fire type were randomly divided into Modified Danzhi Xiaoyaosan Decoction(MDXD) group and Shumian Capsule(SC) group. Both groups were treated for 4 weeks. The data from Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI), the SPIEGEL sleep scale and symptomatic score chart of Chinese medicine of MDXD and SC group were processed with SPSS22.0 to see the difference before and after MDXD administration as well as that between two groups.Results:It was shown in the data of 30 insomnia cases from MDXD group after 4 weeks treatment that: The normal distributed data of PSQI were 14.93 ± 1.74 and after the treatment were 6.83±1.49, before and after treatment difference is 8.07±2.16.The data of SPIEGEL sleep scale were 20.40 ± 3.12 and after the treatment were 8.27 ± 1.70,the difference between before and after is 12.13±2.91.The SC group,the normal distributed data of PSQI were 14.57±1.77 and after the treatment were 9.30±1.95 r, before and after treatment difference is 5.27±1.76.The data of SPIEGEL sleep scale were 19.67±3.75 and after the treatment were 9.93±1.93,the difference between before and after is 9.73±2.61.The abnormal distributed data of Chinese medicinal symptomatic chart, the MDXD group were 19.17±2.29 and after the treatment were 7.43±2.24, before and after treatment difference is 11.73±3.56.The SC group were 18.90±2.20 and after the treatment were9.60 ± 3.29, before and after treatment difference is 9.30 ± 4.55. According to the established evaluation index for "the efficacy ", the efficacy symptomatic chart of Chinese medicine was statistically analyzed: The MDXD group: the curative rate was 20%, the significantly effective rate was 60%, the effective rate was 16.7%, while the ineffective rate was 3.3%, which showed a total efficiency of 96.7%.The SC group: the curative rate was 13.3%, the significantly effective rate was 46.7%, the effective rate was 30%, while the ineffective rate was 10%, which showed a total efficiency of 90%.After 4 weeks of treatment, the data of PSQI, SPIEGEL sleep scale and the Chinese medicinal symptomatic chart from MDXD group and SC group were analyzed. Asignificant statistical difference existed between groups(P <0.05). However, the total efficacy of the efficacy symptomatic chart of Chinese medicine was 96.7% of MDXD group and 90% of SC group, which showed no significant difference(P >0.05).There is no significant side effects and allergic phenomenon during the treatment.Conclusion : MDXD might be more effective on increasing the sleeping time and improving sleeping quality for this type of insomnia.MDXD might have a better effect on improving the symptoms of insomnia caused by the liver depression of the fire, such as difficulty falling asleep at night,dreaminess, irritability, chest stuffy pain, dry mouth, bitter,conjunctival congestion tinnitus, mental fatigue,no appetite, constipation.
