Clinical Observation Of Modified Xiaochaihu Decoction In The Treatment Of Insomnia Of Liver Depression And Spleen Deficien CY In Perimenopausal Women

Objective: Through the clinical research on treating insomnia with liver depression and spleen deficiency in perimenopausal women by using traditional Chinese medicine Xiaochaihu decoction to determine the clinical curative effect of this research.To achieve the purpose of providing an optional plan and ideas for the treatment of insomnia patients with liver depression and spleen deficiency in perimenopausal period.Method: 42 perimenopausal patients with insomnia of liver depression and spleen deficiency syndrome who were treated in the gynecology clinic of Nangang branch of Heilongjiang Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine between March 2021 and February 2022 were treated with traditional Chinese medicine decoction Xiaochaihu decoction.The treatment takes 7 days as a course and takes 2 courses in a row.The PSQI scores and TCM syndrome scores of liver depression and spleen deficiency before the treatment,after 1 week and 2 weeks of the treatment were observed and evaluated,and were compared and analyzed by using the statistical software SPSS 26.0.Results: 1.The total clinical effective rate of Xiaochaihu decoction in the treatment of insomnia with liver depression and spleen deficiency in perimenopausal women is 85.71%,of which the effective rate is 76.19% and the markedly effective rate is 9.52%.2.Compared with before treatment,the PSQI total score decreased significantly after 2 weeks of treatment(P<0.05),and the scores of sleep quality,sleep onset time,sleep time,sleep efficiency,sleep disturbance,and daytime dysfunction were all significantly lower after 2 weeks of treatment(P<0.05).3.Compared with before treatment,the total score of TCM syndromes of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency decreased significantly after 2 weeks of treatment(P<0.05),and the scores of flank pain,bloating,poor appetite,loose stools,depression or irritability,sighing and bowel sounds and fart were all significantly lower after 2 weeks of treatment(P<0.05).Compared with before treatment,the score of the diarrhea was not significantly different after 2 weeks of treatment(P>0.05).Conclusion: Clinical curative effect of modified Xiaochaihu decoction in the treatment of insomnia with liver depression and spleen deficiency in perimenopausal women is very significant.This treatment method can improve patients’ subjective sleep quality,shorten sleep onset time,improve sleep maintenance disorders such as early awakening,prolong total sleep time,improve sleep efficiency,and reduce daytime dysfunction,and can alleviate symptoms of liver stagnation and spleen deficiency——flank pain,bloating,poor appetite,loose stools,depression or irritability,sighing and bowel sounds and fart,and is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
