"Maneuver Of Dredge Meridians And Adjust Organs" In The Treatment Of Metabolic Syndrome (Qi And Yin Deficiency Syndrome) Clinical Observation

Purpose: This subject is based on the "dredge meridians","adjust organs" theory as the core,carry out Low frequency impulse electrotherapy,traditional Chinese medicine comprehensive therapy(maneuver of dredge meridians and adjust organs),the treatment of metabolic syndrome(deficiency of Qi and Yin syndrome),with metformin and pure Chinese medicine contrast,observe the clinical efficacy and safety.Method:This study is a randomiazed controlled trial.After one month's washout period of diet and exercise intervention,those who were still meet the diagnostic criteria of metabolic syndrome(deficiency of Qi and Yin syndrome)would be randomly devided into two groups: maneuver of dredge meridians and adjust organs group,western medicine control group.Each group contained 30 patiens.The maneuver of dredge meridians and adjust organs group were treated with modified Shenqidihuangtang and Low frequency impulse electrotherapy,western medicine control group was given metformin treatment.The observe time of clinical curative effect for 3 months.Body weight,BMI,waist circumference,triglyceride,fasting blood glucose,postprandial 2 hour blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,fasting insulin,Traditional Chinese medical clinical symptoms and safety such as blood and urine routine,electrocardiogram,liver and kidney functions were observed before and after treatment.Result:Before treatment,the gender,age of the two groups had no differences(P>0.05).The syndromes of maneuver of dredge meridians and adjust organs group patients were significantly improved.The total effective rate were 93.33% in maneuver of dredge meridians and adjust organs group,and 73.33% in western medicine control group.Maneuver of dredge meridians and adjust organs group on Body weight,BMI,fasting blood glucose,glycosylated hemoglobin,compared with Western medicine control group was a remarkable statistically significant difference(P< 0.01),on waist circumference,triglyceride,postprandial 2 hour blood glucose,fasting insulin was statistically difference(P< 0.05).Blood and urine routine,electro-cardiogram,liver and kidney function tests were whthin normal range.Both groups were no adverse reactions.Conclusion: Maneuver of dredge meridians and adjust organs for the treatment of metabolic syndrome(deficiency of Qi and Yin syndrome)clinical curative effect,can reduce Western medicine index significantly,significantly improve the traditional Chinese clinical symptoms in patients.To reduce the side effects of Western medicine,the clinical application is safe and reliable,and is worthy of popularization and application.
