Intervention Effect Of The Mode Of MTP On Rational Use Of Antibacterials In Patients With Natural Childbirth

It is harmful to human health because of antibacterial drug abuse.Abuse of antibacterial drug can cause drug resistance of bacteria,dysbacteriosis,double infection and adverse drug reaction.So it is important to improve the rational use of antibacterials.Monitoring-Training-Planning(MTP),it is formulated the goal of intervention with monitoring,known the distance between the current state and the standard by training;it can solve the problem when those play part in this item together.It is the good result of the development of modern medical engineering that MTP is applied to intervene medical behavior in medical institutions.OBJECTIVE: To study the change of the MTP intervention mode on rational use of antibacterial drugs in patients with natural childbirth.In order to regulate the application and management of antibacterials,improve the level of rational use of antibacterials,and provide the basis for the hospital to improve the medical quality.METHODS: The intervention mode of MTP was used.A total of medical records before MTP intervention were selected from obstetrical department during August to October,2014.All medical records after the first MTP intervention were selected from obstetrical department during January to March,2015.All of medical records after the second MTP intervention were selected from obstetrical department during April to June,2015.The information were investigated by the questionnaire of the rational use of antimicrobial agents in patients with natural childbirth.The rational use of antimicrobial agents was studied retrospectively with reference to some professional paper.RESULTS: The reasonable rate of antimicrobial application increased significantly after the second MTP intervention(P<0.05).The usage rate of antimicrobial application decreased significantly after the second MTP intervention(35.44% before MTP intervention,and 15.38% after MTP intervention).Before MTP intervention,the antimicrobial application was 1.9d,and it reduced to 1.42 d significantly after the second MTP intervention(P<0.05).The antibacterial drug costs decreased significantly after the second MTP intervention(299.14 yuan,accounting for hospital costs 6.21% before MTP intervention,and 107.24 yuan,accounting for hospital costs 2.26% after MTP intervention)(P<0.01).Before MTP intervention,the days of hospitalization was 4.09 d,and it reduced to 3.48 d significantly after the second MTP intervention(P<0.05).CONCLUSIONS: The usage rate of antimicrobial application,the days of antimicrobial application,the antibacterial drug costs and the days of hospitalization decreased significantly,and the reasonable rate of antimicrobial application increases significantly after the second MTP intervention.MTP intervention mode is a kind of way to increase the level of the reasonable rate of antimicrobial application,stimulate the doctors to participate in the management of antimicrobial application positively.It can provide the experience for the hospital to improve the management of antimicrobial application on the other department,and explore a new work patterns for the pharmacists to give service to clinical and patients.
