The Clinical Observation Of Longmuzhuanggu Granule On Treating Anorexia (Syndrome Of Deficiency Of Spleen And Stomach)

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Longmuzhuanggu granule in treating infantile anorexia(syndrome of deficiency of spleen and stomach), explore the awareness of different ancient and modern physicians for the clinical treatment of this disease and provide ideas.Methods According to inclusion and exclusion criteria, 50 cases of children as a clinical observation study, signed informed consent with subjects and their families. Before the treatment, the subjects were record of medical history, symptoms, signs,laboratory investigation index, strictly accordance with the design of this study to give clinical treatment, make a comprehensive review of the patient's symptoms, signs, laboratory tests and other indicators during the observation period and documented. collect clinical data by excel applications and establish database,using the the number of cases, mean, standard deviation, minimum, median, maximum, upper quartile(Q1), lower quartile(Q3), 95% confidence interval(95% CI) of quantitative data to make descriptive statistics analysis, using paired t test to compare the indicators and make a conclu sion.Results(1) according to TCM symptoms efficacy criteria, 6 cases recovery,accounting for 12%,24 cases excellence, accounting for 48%, 19 cases efficacious, accounting for 38%, 1 patient ineffective, accounting for 2%,total effective treatment rate was 98%.(2)According to the grading quantitative criteria of TCM symptoms and signs, after treatment, the main symptoms(loss of appetite, reduced food intake) scores significantly decreased, the main symptom score decreased significantly statistically in 4th and 8th weeks(P <0.01), suggesting that the Longmuzhuanggu granule can make the main symptoms significantly reduced.(3)According to the grading quantitative criteria of TCM symptoms and signs, after treatment the minor symptoms(lusterless, fatigue, lack of qi and no desire to speak, poor appetite, abdominal distention, loose stool) scores significantly reduced, the use of paired t-test showed minor symptoms total score decreased significantly statistical significance(P <0.01),suggesting that the Longmuzhuanggu granule can make Secondary symptoms alleviate.(4)adding the main symptoms before and after treatment and the minor symptom scores together, the total score statistics of after treatment show significantly decreased, the difference was statistically significant(p <0.01), suggesting that the party make the main symptoms and secondary symptoms of disease alleviate.(5)Compared the laboratory tests(white blood cells, hemoglobin, ALT, AST, BUN, Cr and trace elements)of aftering treatmen to before treatmentt have varying degrees of change, but the values are within the normal range. suggesting Longmuzhuanggu granule have no significant side effects in blood routine, trace elements, liver and kidney function.(6)During the test observation period, ECG of all patients, urine and stool, were no obvious abnormalities.Conclusion The clinical efficacy of Longmuzhuanggu granule in treating infantile anorexia exactly, has no obvious side effects, its a safe and effective drug.
