Clinical Studies Of Migraine With Xi Feng Zhi Tong Particles In Treating On Type Of Blood Deficiency And Wind Motion

Objective: To observeevaluateobjectively the effectiveness and safety of Xi Feng Zhi Tong Particles in treating on type of pattern of blood vacuity stirring wind.Method: This clinical study selected 56 patients who have Migraine with the type of pattern of blood vacuity stirring wind, and it is arandomizeddouble-blind placebo and parallel control method study. The 56 patients were randomly divided into two groups,14 patients are in the control group and the test group has 42 cases.The test group was given Xi Feng Zhi Tong Particles(Provided by strong life of Guangxi pharmaceutical group company limited).It is ten grams per bag,and it is eaten with one bag at a time, three times a day.With warm water and then drunk it.Patients with migraine when theirheadache is severe excruciating can oral ibuprofen sustained release capsules.The 1th day of the observation point for the Group(baseline), the 14 th day of treatment(visit 1), 28 th day(visit 2) and the 28 th day after treatment(follow-up).Observing the effectiveness indicators such as the score of headache, headache VAS score, score of TCM syndromes, clinical efficacy,efficacy of TCMsyndromes and usage of painkillers.We observe the safety indicators such asthe vital signs,hepatic and nephric function,blood and urine routine,ECG and adverse events and so on.During the observation period, we disable all treatmentsexcept the Xi Feng Zhi Tong Particlesto patients with migraine.Depending on the results of observation, we conduct statistical analysis and evaluation.Results: 1.Headache symptom score:After 4 weeks of treatment,the Means and Standard Deviations of the patient's headache symptom scores in both groups are decreased when compared with the baseline, and it has a significant difference statistically(P<0.05).On the other hand,it has a significant difference statistically between the two groups too(P < 0.05).Four weeks after the drug was stopped,the Means and Standard Deviations of the patient's headache symptom scores in both groups are increasedcompared with the treatment for 4 weeks,but still below over the baseline,there were no significant differences in the headache symptom scoresbefore and after stopping between the two groups(P>0.05). 2.Headache VAS score: After 4 weeks of treatment, the Means and Standard Deviations of the patient's headache VAS scores in both groups are decreased when compared with baseline, and it has a significant difference statistically(P < 0.05).And it has a significant difference statistically between the two groups too(P<0.05). 3.Score of TCM syndromes:After 4 weeks of treatment, the Means and Standard Deviations of the patient's TCM syndromes scores in both groups are decreased when compared with baseline, and it hasa significant difference statistically(P < 0.05).And it has a significant difference statistically between the two groups too(P< 0.05).Four weeks after the drug was stopped,there was no significant differences in the TCM syndromes scores before and after stopping between the two groups(P>0.05) 4.The frequency and dosage of anodyne: After 4 weeks of treatment,the frequencies and dosages of anodyne of the two groups were compared,their differences didnot have statistical significance(P>0.05),so did the comparisons between groups and groups,before and after treatment(P>0.05). 5.Efficacy ofclinical:The clinical effectiveness of the test group is 83.33%,and the control group is 42.86%,the test group is better than the control group,they have significant differences statistically(P<0.05). 6.Efficacy of TCMsyndromes:The efficacy of TCM syndromes of the test group is 85.71%,and the control group is 57.14%, the test group is better than the control group, they have significant differences statistically(P<0.05). 7.The safety indicators:There are no significant adverse reactions and hepatic and nephric dysfunction phenomenon during the study period. The vital signs,analysis of blood andurine routine, and ECG are standard.Conclusion: Xi Feng Zhi Tong particles is safe and effective in the treatment on type of pattern of blood vacuity stirring wind. It can effectively reduce these patients' headache symptom scores, headache VAS score, score of TCM syndromes. It can effectively reduce the frequency or dosage of anodyne. It has good efficacy of clinical and efficacy of TCM syndromes.Xi Feng Zhi Tong particles doesnothave significant adverse reactions,so are thehepatic and nephric damage.
