| Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Ding xuan juan tong decoction in the treatment of migraine without aura, Yin and Blood deficiency and wind-phlegm disturbance syndrom, and to confirm its treatment characteristics and advantages, as well as to evaluate its significance for clinical application, so as to provide evidences for clinicians and researchers.Methods:60patients met with the criteria for study and were randomly divided into two groups. Patients in treatment group received Ding xuan juan tong decoction, one dose a day and was given twice during the day; patients in control group were given sibelium (flunarizine)10mg every night. Treatment lasted for7days,and observed lasted for28days after treatment. Symptoms of headache, as well as improvement of TCM syndrome before and after treatment were observed and compared.Results:60patients were recruited in our study and59completed the study with one case failed the study. There were30cases in treatment group and29cases in control group. As for symptomatic treatment of migraine without aura, treatment group gave an effective rate of96.67%and showed significant difference compared with control group (89.66%)(p<0.05). As for migraine without aura, Yin and Blood deficiency and wind-phlegm disturbance syndrom, treatment group exhibited an effective rate of90%and showed significant difference when compared with control group(13.79%)(p<0.05).Conclusion:Ding xuan juan tong decoction had confirmed effects in the treatment of migraine without aura, Yin and Blood deficiency and wind-phlegm disturbance syndrom and its clinical promotion was assured. In this study, we tried to understand migraine from pathological aspects of deficiency of yin and blood and wind-phlegm syndrome with innovative theory in identification and treatment which further improves the Methods Formulae and Medicine system for TCM in the treatment of migraine. |
