| Objective:By using computer digital image analysis (CDIA) method to assess the clinical efficacy and safety of the CO2 fractional laser combined with Kang Bai Ling Cream and kidney-nourishing-and-blood-activating prescription in the treatment of vitiligo.Methods:30 cases of eligible patients with vitiligo were choosed into this clinical test. Each patient selecting certain skin lesions which divided into the treatment group and control group by self contrast method. The treatment group was treated with CO2 fractional laser treatment once a month and topical Kang Bai Ling Cream treatment. The control group was only treated with topical Kang Bai Ling Cream treatment. Each of the patients should take kidney-nourishing-and-blood-activating prescription twice a day, and Kang Bai Ling Cream for external use twice a day. We have taken clinical observation on these patients every month and for three consecutive months. All the pathes were photographed and depicted respectively before and after 1,2,3 months treatment which have been calculated the area by computer digital image analysis system. Thus, we can calculate the skin restore degree to evaluate the curative effect, at the same time, the adverse effects were reeorded.Results:A total of 30 patients were involved in the clinical trials, including 5 patients due to lost to fall off from the experiment, the rest of the 25 patients were successfully completed treatment of three months. We collected a total of 50 pieces of skin lesions, including 25 pieces as a control group,25 pieces as a treatment group. After 3 months of treatment, the total complexion recovery rate in the treatment group was 17.01% and 3.51% in the control group.The total efficiency rate is 68% in the treatment group and is higher than 12% in the control group. The show efficiency of the treatment is 20%,and the control group show efficiency is 0%,the comparison of the two groups'efficiency p<0.01.1,2,3 months after treatment, the treatment group compared with control group efficiently, a month after the treatment group was 16%, the control group was 4%(p>0.05),After 2 months were 28% and 12% respectively, (p>0.05),After 3 months were 68% and 12% respectively (p<0.01).1,2,3 months after treatment, the treatment group color recovery rate are 4.27%,10.13% and 4..27% respectively, Control group color recovery rate are 0.67%,2.32% and 0.67% respectively, comparing the two groups were p< 0.01.3 months after treatment, The number of skin lesions that the one of color recovery rate was >75% in the treatment group was 1 piece, which in the control group was 0 piece. The comparison of the target skin lesions'color recovery rate in different factors such as gender, age, course, place, the comparison in the two groups of handquarters cadres p>0.05, the color recovery rate of treatment group were higher than the control group in The rest of the various factors. The comparison of the target lesions' color recovery rate under different factors in the group, On gender, age, course of curative effects are all P> 0.05, the torso and limbs, foot of color recovery rate (P< 0.01), The curative effect of the color recovery rate of the two groups in different parts, the worst one was the brotherhood, hindquarters cadres was the best, but the curative effect of treatment group were all higher than the control group. The treatment of CO2 fractional laser all appear immediate response(including skin erythema, pain, itching, etc).1 case of itching after separate external use of Kang Bai Ling Cream, only 3 cases of the itching after external use of the CO2 fractional laser combined with Kang Bai Ling Cream,1 case of a blister, no other adverse reactions; Oral Chinese medicine did not see the skin adverse effects, no obvious abnormal liver and kidney function before and after the treatment.Conclusion:The Curative effect of CO2 fractional laser combined with Kang Bai Ling Cream and kidney-nourishing-and-blood-activating prescription in the treatment of vitiligo is superior to the one only use Kang Bai Ling Cream and kidney-nourishing-and-blood-activating prescription to treat the vitiligo, and it works faster. The CO2 fractional laser as a new type refractory vitiligo treatment method, Having the advantages of efficient, convenient and safe, and can directly effect on vitiligo skin lesions, the compliance of the patient is good, The curative effect of Kang Bai Ling Cream combing with kidney-nourishing-and-blood-activating prescription is higher compared with other traditional treatments and with good security. |
