Purpose: To observe the clinic effects of penetration needling acupuncture on post-stroke depression and its effect on the recovery of neurologic function.Method: According to the principle of random, the post stroke depression patients from the First Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of TCM acupuncture treatment area and the brain treatment area and the brain rehabilitation center were divided randomly into the acupuncture group and the control group in accordance with the random number table. The two groups of patients have all accepted the conventional drug therapy of neurology. The acupuncture group was treated with penetration needling method and the treatment group was treated with oral fluoxetine hydrochloride capsules, and their courses of treatment were both 4weeks.We used HAMD to classify the degree of depression and NIHSS to evaluate the neurologic impairment of the patients of the two groups before and after treatment and 3months later, combined with the correlation study between the scores of the scales and changes in the scale scores of different time,to investigate the therapeutic effect of penetration needling method on PSD.The above data were statistically analyzed with SPSS19.0 software.Result: 1.Through the statistical analysis:There were no statistical differences comparatively at age, sex, the nature of stroke and course.2.Relationship between HAMD score and NIHSS score of the patients before treatment:the degree of depression and neurologic function of the patients were positively correlated.3.The two treatment methods can both improve the depression and neurologic impairment of the patients and the total effective rate of 87.88% in the treatment group was better than 83.87% in the control group with a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05).4.During follow up,the treatment group is more effective in improving the depression and neurologic impairment of the patients than the control group. Conclusion: Penetration needling method is more effective in improving the depression and neurologic impairment of the patients and has the advantage of better long-term therapeutical effect and clinical popularization value than taking fluoxetine hydrochloride capsules orally.
