Effects Of Angelica Astragals Blood-quickening Prescriptions Combining With The Electronic Biofeedback Therapy On Functional Constipation Of Middle-aged And Old

Objective The thesis aims to find out the method of using “gu ben pei yuan” and “dong ze sheng yang” in qi deficiency to blood stasis through theory and clinical researches. It also wants to explore the mode of action of functional constipation of Middle?aged and old by angelica Astragals blood?quickening prescriptions combining with the electronic biofeedback therapy. The theory analyze how do the “gu ben pei yuan” and “yi qi huo xue” work. The meaning of “dong ze sheng yang”is also analyzed. It aims at improving the living quality of patients and making the symptom better and curative chronically. Critically it evaluats the clinic effects and finds out a easy and effective way to cure the functional constipation.Methods All the 90 subjects, who were suffered from constipation, were selected from the Hubei hospital of traditional Chinese medicine anorectal section. They were eligible for the inclusion and exclusion criteria. We divided them randomly into three groups, treatment group with angelica Astragals blood?quickening prescriptions combining with the electronic biofeedback therapy(n=30), control group A using electronic biofeedback therapy(n=30)and control group B with Lactulose(n=30). The subjects were same in general condition(including gender, age, course of disease),clinical manifestation before treatment(including symptom and signs),living standard and so on(P>0.05), which made them comparable. We did the research before treatment, after 2?week's treatment and after 4?week's treatment. Researches are as follow: (a) Grade their living quality in case to understand the impact of the disease and the improvement after the treatment. (b) Observe the improvement of symptom of character of the excrement, timing and times of defecate, the uncomfortable feeling of anus and abdominal distension. (c) Follow?up visite the subjects after treatment and find out the recurrence rate.Results (a) After two week's of treatment, the total effective rate of the three groups had statistical significant differences in comparison(P<0.05). All of them were effective but comparing the effect, the treatment group >control group A > control group B.(b) After two week's of treatment,, the improvement of living stand? ard of the treatment group had statistical significant differences in com? parison of pre?treatment(P<0.05);The character of living standard inclu? deing somatic discomfort, worried anxious, satisfaction evaluation had statistical significant differences in comparison of the control group A and B(P<0.05);The character of clinical manifestation in treatment group including fecal character, defecation time, defecation frequency, the symptoms of anus, the symptoms of the abdominal had statistical significant differences in comparison of pre?treatment(P<0.05); The character of clinical manifestation in treatment group including fecal character, the symptoms of the abdominal had statistical significant differences in compareson of the control group A(P<0.05); The character of clinical manifestation in treatment group including the symptoms of anus had statistical significant differences in comparison of the control group B(P<0.05).(c) After four week's of treatment, the total effective rate of the three groups had statistical significant differences in comparison(P<0.05). All of them were effective but comparing the effect, the treatment group >control group A > control group B.(d) After four week's of treatment,, the improvement of living standard of the treatment group had statistical significant differences in compare? son of pre?treatment(P<0.05);The character of living standard including somatic discomfort, worried anxious had statistical significant differ? ences in comparison of the control group A(P<0.05); The character of living standard including somatic discomfort, Psychological discomfor t, worried anxious had statistical significant differences in comparison of the control group B(P<0.05).The all character of clinical manifestation in treatment group had statistical significant differences in comparison of pre?treatment(P<0.05); The character of clinical manifestation in treat? ment group including fecal character, defecation frequency, defecate difficulty the symptoms of the abdominal had statistical significant differences in comparison of the control group A(P<0.05); The character of clinical manifestation in treatment group including defecation time, defecation frequency, defecate difficulttty,the symptoms of anus had statistical significant differences in comparison of the control group B(P<0.05).(e) Six months after the treatment, the recurrence rate were treatment group(7.1%) <control group A(23.6%) < control group B(60.6%),which had statistical significant differences in comparison(P<0.05).Conclusion (a) Angelica Astragals blood?quickening prescriptions combining with the electronic biofeedback therapy, electronic biofeedback therapy and Lactulose are all effective in cuing functional constipation of Middle?aged and old.(b) In the long term, angelica Astragals blood?quickening prescriptions combining with the electronic biofeedback therapy is better than electronic biofeedback therapy and Lactulose.(c) “gu ben pei yuan” and “yi qi huo xue” have bright prospects, but the cell molecular mechanism still need a further exploration.(e) The therapy of ” dong ze sheng yang”has effective meaning in preventive treatment of disease of preventing pathologic degeneration by aging.
