Objective: By collecting cases of middle-aged and elderly patients with chronic functional constipation, factor analysis and cluster analysis were carried out on the four high-frequency diagnostic information of patients.Based on the analysis results, the disease location and disease elements were summarized, and the common symptoms of middle-aged and elderly patients with chronic functional constipation were summarized, providing certain basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment of the disease.Materials and methods: Collected from January 2016 to January 2019 in liaoning university hospital of traditional Chinese medicine spleen ward cases of senile patients with chronic functional constipation, according to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria to selection of cases, sums up the patient's case data, the database was established based on Excel, record the patient's name, gender, age, four diagnostic information, etc.,using the frequency analysis to various information statistics, using factor analysis and cluster analysis to analyze the high frequency four diagnostic information. Results :1.Among the 107 included patients,65 were female patients, accounting for 60.75%,and 42 were male patients, accounting for 39.25%.The youngest is 42 years old,the oldest is 93 years old,and the majority are between 60 and 80 years old.2.Among the four diagnostic information collected, the symptoms ranked in the top 15 patients were: difficulty in passing out, prolonged cycle, fecal dry node, zhizai sweat, shortness of breath, tired and lazy speech of limbs, night sweat, fatigue, zygomatic flushing, tinnitus, thin body, little sleep, forgetfulness, palpitations, and mild hand and foot temperature.Weak pulse is the most common pulse condition, followed by heavy pulse, and the tongue substance with the most frequent occurrence is light tongue, and the tongue coating with the most little coating. The above information indicates that the symptoms of qi deficiency and Yin deficiency are mostly seen, indicating the important role of qi nourishing bowel method in clinical treatment.3.13 common factors were extracted by factor analysis method.According to the analysis ofdisease location and disease elements,in addition to the basic pathological changes of large intestine, this disease mainly involves the lung, spleen and kidney,as well as the liver and stomach, and has a close relationship with the heart.Syndrome of deficiency of disease elements includes deficiency of qi,Yin and Yang, and deficiency of blood.4.When the cluster analysis method is used, the results are consistent with the factor analysis results.5.After the combination of related syndromes, different syndromes were obtained, such as deficiency of lung and spleen, deficiency of kidney Yin,deficiency of kidney Yang, blood deficiency, liver stagnation and spleen deficiency, solid heat and cold coagulation gastrointestinal syndrome.Conclusion:1.Lung,spleen,kidney and liver are the most important locations of chronic functional constipation in the middle-aged and elderly.2.Yin deficiency,qi stagnation and qi deficiency are the main pathogenic factors of chronic functional constipation in the elderly.3.Deficiency syndrome is the most common syndrome in the middle-aged and elderly patients with chronic functional constipation, and the variance contribution rate of deficiency of kidney Yin syndrome is the highest(18.723%),followed by liver depression and spleen deficiency(17.259%),and lung qi deficiency(13.483%).
