Objective: Cancer, CVD, cardiovascular disease is attributed to the cause of death among Chinese preferentially. As there is an upward trend in the amount of the mortality rate, incidence rate(IR),prevalence rate(PR),case fatality rate(CFR),disability rate and recurernce rate of stroke, leading a heavy burden on individual, families and society,it seems in urgent need to generalize amount of effective, simple,low-priced therapies.TCM methods applied to stroke is abundant, and the effect is distinctive. This paper aims at exploring the curative effect and generalizability of acusector combined with acupoint- injection therapy in treating apoplexy in the convalescence. Methods: Recruited 60 CI inpatients with apoplexy in the convalescence, comformed with both the diagnostic criteria of CI from “the key points to all kinds of cerebropathy” worked out by 1995, the 4th National Academic Cerebrovascula Conference of CMA,and“diagnois and efficacy evaluation of stroke ” adopted by collaborative team on acute cerebropathy,State Administration of TCM(trial). 60 cases,in accordance with the randomnumber table, were allocated into acusector group and acusector combined with acupoint-injection group(short for “combinative group”),each group included 30 cases equally.Applied acusector to acusector group, while injected Monosialotetrahexosylganglioside sodium for injection into the acupoints among combinative group members, on the basis of the same treatment as acusector group.Operation of both groups was once per day,6 times per week,1 week accounted to a course of treatment, 4 courses of treatment(4weeks) totally. After 28-day treatment, observer evaluated the effect of each group, compared them with each other in terms of the 4th National Academic Cerebrovascula Conference of CMA,and “diagnois and efficacy evaluation of stroke ” adopted by collaborative team on acute cerebropathy, State Administration of TCM(trial).Result: 1.During 4-week treatment,2 cases in acusector group and single case in combinative group dropped out.Compared the 2 groups on light type-severe type compose through statistical analysis after 4-week treatment individually before and after treatment.60 inpatients were in terms of light type after treatment, indicating that both acusector therapy and acusector combined with acupoint-injection therapy was clinically effective ontreating apoplexy in the convalescence, definitely. 2.Compared the 2 groups on the pathema diagnostic points through statistical analysis after 4-week treatment individually before and after treatment. The pathema diagnostic of both groups was lower than before treatment. Through statistical analysis, there was a signficant difference between them, indicating that both acusector therapy and acusector combined with acupoint-injection therapy was clinically effective on treating apoplexy in the convalescence, definitely, while the latter was superior to the former. 3.Compared the 2 groups on total-effective-rate.Through statistical analysis after 4-week,there was a signficant difference between them. While the total-effective-rate of acusector group was 75.00%,and combinative group was 89.66%, indicating that the latter was superior tothe former. Conclusion: The result suggested that both acusector therapy and acusector combined with acupoint-injection Monosialtetrahexosy lgang lioside Sodium therapy were clinically effective on treating apoplexy in the convalescence, definitely. While the the latter was superior to the former. The acusector combined with acupoint-injection therapy, which was nerve- protective, able to accelerate the recover of damaged nerve in early-phase,improv daily lif level for patients with apoplexy in the convalescence, decrease the pathema diagnostic points and increase the effective-rate of patients,It well deserved generalization.
