Analysis Of Clinical Outcome Of Minimally Invasive Plate Osteosynthesis (MIPO)combined With Red Marrow In Distal Femoral Comminuted Fracture

Objective To explore the clinical results of patients with comminuted fractures of the distal femur treated by MIPO combined with autologous red marrow transplantation.Methods From 2011 to 2015,18 patients who suffered from closed distal femoral comminuted fracture were divided into 2 groups according to the surgical methods——MIPO(group A)and MIPO combined with autologous red marrow transplantation(group B).Displacement of the fragments occurred in all of the fractures after the first operation.Compare the 2 groups by operative time,fracture healing,function after prognosis and re-operation.Result Operative time was observed at an average of 77.40±17.10 minutes(range 60 to 120 minutes)in group A and an average of 88.75±19.93 minutes(range 50 to 105 minutes)in group B.There was no statistically significant difference between group A and B on the operative time.The healing rate of 3 months was 75.0% in group A and 20.0% in group B.There was statistically significant difference between group A and B on the healing rate of three months.The healing rate of 6 months was 87.5% in group A and 30.0% in group B.There was statistically significant difference between group A and B on the healing rate of 6 months.The excellent and good rate of function after prognosis was 87.5% in group A and 80% in group B.There was no statistically significant difference between group A and B on the function after prognosis.1 out of 8 cases in group A underwent re-operation,and 7 out of 10 patients in group B suffered one.There was statistically significant difference between group A and B on the rate of re-operation.
