Objective:To investigate and analyze the intramedullary nail for fracture of tibia and fibula in the treatment of comminuted tibial fixation block, and fixed the fibula for intramedullary nail of the synergistic effect of the auxiliary support. Methods:According to the bone structure, characteristics both biomechanics and material structural mechanics, for complex fractures of the tibial intramedullary nails were used at the same time lag screw, wire and other methods of pressure and fixed comminuted fracture fragments block, and the fibular plate fixation and other methods to treat 36 patients, Its retrospective analysis and evaluation based on the reference standard evaluation Johner-Wruhs good rate of healing of tibia and fibula, according to HSS scoring system to evaluate knee function.Results:36 patients of fracture healing back to the hospital remove the internal fixation, with reference to Johner-Wruhs evaluation criteria: excellent rate of 91.7%. HSS knee score system used on postoperative knee function scores, the two groups in postoperative pain, muscle strength, function, range of motion, knee flexion deformity, and stability of the difference was statistically significant. Conclusion:Treatment with intramedullary nails of tibia and fibula complicated compromise, the use of lag screws for compression of the fracture fragments and comminuted fracture of the fixed block, and the application of fibular plate supporting fixed, can achieve a better therapeutic effect.
