Objective:To observe the effects of runfeizhisou pill on the changes in lung tissues and SOD,MDA, vitamin E of rats serum with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(COPD) and study runfeizhisou pill oxidant-antioxidant effect for the treatment of COPD.Methods:30 Wistar rats were randomly divided into control group,model group and runfeizhisou pill treatment group(treatment group),each group including 10 rats.Control group rats were fed under normal environment, model group and treatment group using the "smoked a joint air drops of LPS law" copy COPD rat models. Model end pathological model was successful. Control group and model group were filling with the ultra pure water in stomach. Treatment group of rats was treated by Chinese herbs of traditional Chinese medicine(runfeizhisou pills) after intragastric infusion treatment. Observation of three groups of rats, kill all rats after intragastric administration intervention in 30 days, H-E staining of lung tissue of the rats, observed morphological changes in lung tissue, Lung lining intervals on MLI and MAN, to estimate the degree of emphysema in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. The level of serum SOD of rats were measured by xanthine oxidase method. Each rat’s serum MDA level were measuredusing glucosinolates barbituric acid colorimetric analysis method. the content of vitamin E in serum were determed with colorimetric method.The results were analyzed using SPSS20 statistical software.Results:1 Pathological changes: Under the microscope,model group and the Chinese medicine group rats lung tissue section visible conform to the pathological changes of COPD, and Chinese medicine group rats emphysema change significantly reduce in the model group.2 Clinical symptoms:Normal group rats were in good condition. Model group rats appear listlessness, sweat out, coughing, wheezing and other abnormalities.Treatment group compared with model group rats symptoms improve.3 Comparing the MLI and MAN of each group of rats:MLI in model group was higher than that in control group(p<0.05),but MAN in model group was lower than that in control group(p<0.05). MLI in runfei treatment group was lower than that in model group(p<0.05), but higher than that in control group; MAN in runfei treatment group was higher than that in model group(p<0.05),but lower than that in control group(p<0.05). there was statistically significant.4 Each group of rats serum SOD comparison:Content of serum SOD in model group and treatment group were lower significantly than that in control group(P<0.05). The treatment group compared with the model group, the serum SOD level was decreased, with significant difference(P<0.05).5 Each group of rats serum MDA comparison: Content of serum MDA in model group and treatment group were higher significantly than that in control group(P<0.05).Compared with model group, Content of serum MDA in treatment group was decreased, with significant difference(P<0.05).6 Each group of rats serum vitamin E comparison:Content of serum vitamin E in model group and treatment group were lower significantly than that in control group(P<0.05). The treatment group compared with the model group, the serum vitamin E level was decreased, with significant difference(P<0.05).7 Each index correlation test:Meta-analysis showed the levels of MDA were negatively correlated with SOD,and MDA negatively correlated with MAN(P<0.05)Conclusion:1 Using endotracheal injection of LPS and smoked a joint building method can establish the COPD rats model.2 Runfeizhisou pill can improve the rat COPD model clinical symptom.3 Runfeizhisou pill can improve the pathological changes of pulmonary emphysema by observing the changes of MLI and MAN in each group.4 Runfeizhisou pill can enhance the activity of SOD in rats with COPD model, and improve the level of vitamin E,and reduce the level of MDA and enhance antioxidant capacity,and correct oxidant-antioxidant imbalance,those partly may be therapeutic mechanism on COPD of runfeizhisou pill.
