A Clinical Study On Treating Imbalance Between Heart-yang And Kidney-yin Type Of Insomnia With Yuan-luo Point Compatibility

Objective: Using the Yuan-Luo point compatibility needling method to treat insomnia about imbalance between heart-yang and kidney-yin and regarding the drug treatment as the control group,we evaluate the curative effect according to the clinical effect standard of Insomnia,Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and the main symptom scale of Insomnia about imbalance between heart-yang and kidney-yin,and discuss the efficacy and advantages of the method in the treatment of the disease.Methods: 60 Insomnia patients from acupuncture outpatient and ward of the first affiliated hospital of Guangxi university of Chinese Medicine will be included in the standard samples according to the order and respectively assigned to the treatment group of Yuan-Luo point compatibility(30 cases)and drug control group(30 cases).the treatment group of Yuan-Luo point compatibility choose the following points: shenmen(double)?taixi(double)?tongli(double)?dazhong(double)?baihui.The drug control group is treated with Diazepam tablets.Both will be treated for 10 days for 1 period of treatment and have 2 course of treatment.Two groups of patient will be collected the data respectively in the treatment before,after 1st and 2nd.We evaluate the curative effect according to the clinical effect standard of Insomnia,Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)and the main symptom scale of Insomnia about imbalance between heart-yang and kidney-yin.And use theSPSS17.0 statistical software for statistical analysis.Results: After the first course of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group of Yuan-Luo point compatibility was 55.17%,the total effective rate of the drug control group was 56.67%,the curative effect comparison of this two groups have no significant difference(P>0.05).Compared the two groups of PSQI scale score,they have no significant difference(P>0.05).Compared the two groups total score of symptom score,they have no significant difference(P>0.05);After the second course of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group of Yuan-Luo point compatibility was 89.65%,the total effective rate of the drug control group was80.00%,The curative effect comparison of this two groups have significant difference(P<0.05).Compared the two groups of PSQI scale score,the treatment group of PSQI scale is lower than the control group,so they have significant difference(P<0.05).Compared the two groups total score of symptom score,the treatment group of symptom score is lower than the control group,so they have significant difference(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Acupuncture therapy of Yuan-Luo point compatibility and drug therapy all can improve sleep.2.Acupuncture therapy of Yuan-Luo point compatibility is superior to drug therapy.
