Objective: To observe and study the clinical efficacy of Jingushang capsule with pillow replacement therapy and functional exercise in treating stable thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture.Methods: Chosed 60 hospitalized patients diagnosed as stable thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture from October 2014 to January 2016 in Ruikang Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine,and randomly dividing them into two groups: experimental group of 30 patients and control group of 30 patients.The 30 patients in experimental group were treated by Jingushang capsule with pillow replacement therapy and functional exercise therapy.While the other 30 patients in control group were treated with Fufang sanqi capsule with pillow replacement therapy and functional exercise.It's 14 day's for a course,and should be kept treating for three courses.Compared the VAS pain score before treatment and after 14,28,and 42 day's treatment in and between two groups.Compared and analyzed the anterior edge height of symptomatic vertebrae and the kyphotic Cobb angle records by the patients had X-rays before treatment and after 14,28,and 42 day's treatment.Finally,ssessed the differences in an bewteen groups before and after treatment.Result: Analyzing the data with SPSS22 statistical software.Compared the VAS pain score before and after treatment,the experimental group: P=0.000,P<0.05;the control group: P=0.000,P<0.05,so that the VAS pain score had be decreased by treatment.Compared the experimental group to the control group by the VAS pain score which after 7 day's treatment,P=0.031,P<0.05,so that the experimental group pain relief is better than the control group.Compared the experimental group to the control group by the VAS pain score which after 14,28,and 42 day's treatment,P<0.05 totally,so that there is no significant difference between two groups of pain relief.Compared the the anterior edge height of symptomatic vertebrae and the kyphotic Cobb angle records before and after treatment,the experimental group: P=0.000,P<0.05;the control group: P=0.000,P<0.05,so that the anterior edge height of symptomatic vertebrae were partly recovered and the kyphotic Cobb angle records were decreased by treatment.Compared the experimental group to the control group by the anterior edge height of symptomatic vertebrae and the kyphotic Cobb angle records which after 14,28,and 42 day's treatment,P<0.05 totally,so that there is no significant difference between two groups of symptomatic vertebrae were partly recovered and the kyphotic Cobb angle records were decreased.The total treatment effective rate of the experimental group was 93.33%,the total treatment effective rate of the control group was 96.67%.Used statistics to analyze the treatment efficiency,P=0.343,P> 0.05,there are no significant differences in efficiency between Jingushang capsule and Fufang Sanqi capsule treatment.Conclusion:There is much prominent clinical efficacy of Jingushang capsule with pillow replacement therapy and functional exercise in treating stable thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture.Jingushang capsule can relieves the pain fast,and the way for treating is simple.It is very worthy for application in clinic treatment.
