Objective:Research and comparison of pillow therapy combined with high viscosity bone cement vertebroplasty in clinical efficacy and adverse reactions of fractures in the treatment of osteoporotic thoracolumbar vertebral compression,to provide practical and theoretical basis for the clinical application of pillow therapy combined with high viscosity bone cement vertebroplasty.Materials and Methods:Selection of osteoporotic thoracolumbar from December 2015 to September 2016 in Gansu Province Chinese medicine hospital 64 cases of patients with compression fracture were randomly divided into 2 groups,32 cases in each group,treatment group with pillow therapy combined with high viscosity bone cement vertebroplasty treatment,control group with high viscosity bone cement of vertebral body plasty.Recorded and compared between treatment group and control group all the patients before treatment,after 2 days of pain relief and improve the spinal function activity,anterior vertebral height restoration,bone cement leakage,vertebral and adjacent vertebral fracture,spss19.0 test was used to analyze relevant data.After June,in March,the recent follow-up.Results:1.pain relief VAS ratingsTwo groups of patients after surgery compared to the pain before treatment significantly improved,compared with the preoperative and postoperative scores were significantly different(P < 0.05);the difference between the two groups before treatment and after treatment for the first time on the 2 day was no significant difference(P > 0.05).2.spinal function recovery ODI scoreTwo groups of patients after surgery compared to the treatment of spinal function was significantly improved,compared with the score before and after surgery were significantly different(P < 0.05);the treatment group before and after the treatment for the first 2 days of the comparison between the two groups had no significant difference(P > 0.05).3.Improvement of convex CobbTwo groups of patients after surgery compared with before treatment,Cobb angleimproved significantly,compared group were different before and after operation(P < 0.05);group data using independent T test,the two groups of postoperative spinal kyphosis recovery had a significant difference(P < 0.05).4.Recovery of anterior vertebral heightTwo groups of patients before treatment and after 2 days before treatment,and intraoperative vertebral body height change,the differences were comparable(P < 0.01);comparison between groups 2 days after surgery,intraoperative vertebral height differences were comparable(P < 0.05).5.Bone cement usageThe independent sample T test was used to compare the amount of bone cement used between the two groups,and the difference was significant(P < 0.05).6.cement leakageIn this paper,all patients were taken X-ray before treatment,intraoperative and postoperative observation,4 cases of treatment group(found to vertebral bone cement leakage,immediately stop the injection of bone cement during operation)bone cement leakage,the control group of 5 cases of leakage,all patients after after March June,short-term follow-up,there were no pulmonary embolism and related complications;two groups of bone cement leakage rate by chi square test,the difference was not comparable(P > 0.05).7.Analysis of the fracture of the adjacent vertebraeAfter March,the recent follow-up of 6 menstrual X-ray,no obvious loss of vertebral height,kyphosis Cobb angle did not change significantly,no risk of vertebral fracture,part of adjacent vertebral pain were examined with MRI,without the occurrence of adjacent vertebral fracture.Conclusion:The study found that pillow therapy combined with high viscosity bone cement vertebroplasty in treatment of osteoporotic thoracolumbar vertebral compression fracture clinical curative effect is good,easy to operate,can restore the vertebral height and correct kyphosis,but still need more cases and long-term clinical observation follow up.
