| Objective:To observe the clinical effect of self-made adjustable multi-balloon cushion in the treatment of fresh osteoporotic fhoracolumbar compression fracture(OVCF).Methods:A total of 40 patients with fresh OVCF who received treatment in Jiangsu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Liyang Branch of Jiangsu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from March 2019 to December 2020 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into experimental group and control group,with 20 patients in each group.The control group was given lumbar pillow therapy,and the experimental group was given adjustable multi-balloon pillow therapy.VAS score,Oswestry dysfunction index(ODI score),anterior vertebral height compression rate were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.Cobb Angle improvement rate and anterior vertebral height recovery rate were followed up for 1 month and 3 months.Results:All patients were followed up for 3 months,and no bed bed complication occurred in the three groups.VAS score and ODI score were calculated and compared between the two groups after admission,and the differences were not statistically significant but comparable(P>0.05).Followed up for 1 month,3 months,the control group ODI score,VAS scores were significantly higher than the experimental group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),two groups of patients before and after treatment VAS score,ODI score down there were statistically significant(P<0.05),but there is no interaction effect(P>0.05),the difference between the two groups dominated by grouping factors.There was no significant difference in the anterior vertebral compression rate between the two groups at admission,which was comparable(P>0.05).There is an interaction effect between time factor and grouping factor.The comparison of anterior vertebral edge compression rate between the 2 groups showed that the anterior vertebral edge height compression rate of the control group was higher than that of the test group after 1 and 3 months of follow-up,with statistical significance(P<0.05),that is,grouping effect existed.After treatment,there was a statistically significant difference in the compression rate of the anterior edge of the vertebra between the two groups at different time points,that is,there was a time effect.The vertebral anterior margin compression rate in both groups showed a decreasing trend over time,but the decreasing trend in both groups was not completely consistent.The vertebral anterior margin compression rate in the first month of the experimental group decreased more rapidly than that of the control group.Conclusion:The self-made adjustable multi-balloon pillow is effective in alleviating pain,promoting the recovery of fracture vertebral height and improving spinal function in the treatment of OVCF. |
