Purpose: To study mycoplasma pneumonia infection in children affected by respiretory diseases in Huangshan district from 2011 to2014;to provide evidence for the endemic prevention and treatment of the MP infection through studying the epidemicologic characteristics of Mycoplasma pneumoniae(MP)infection in children living in Huangshan district.Methods:5637 samples of inpatients with respiratory infections in Huangshan People's Hospital's pediatric unit from January 2011 to December 2014 were selected,which were quantatively detected for antibody of MP with the aid of Mycoplasma pneumoniae antibody Ig M test kit(colloidal gold method)produced by Weifang Hong Wah Biological Technology Co.,Ltd..The method of retrospective control study was adopted to analyze the effectively collected data according to the genders,ages of the inpatients and months,seasons of the year and living conditions and the symptoms caused by the dieases.Result:Positive results were 1251 out the 5637 samples,the rate being 22.19%.No clear-ly distinction between different genders were found(P>0.05).The infection rate caused by MP was significantly higher in winter and spring seasons than in the other two seasons.The infection rate reached up to 38.28% in the winter of 2013,while in the summer of 2011 the rate was only 9.80%.The infection rate of MP was also ob-vious in different living conditions,urban inpatients are at a higher infection rate than the rural inpatients(P<0.05).The infection rate of MP in respiratory infectious diseases varied with lobar pneumonia ranking first(76.71%),which was followed by interstitial pneumonia(59.77%),asthma complicated with MP infection(43.28%).bronchopneumonia(22.90%),bronchitis(9.36%),upper respiratory tract infection(16.02%)and suffocative bronchitis(5.03%)being the lowest.The distinction among different The positive infection rate of MP in respiratory infectious diseases has statistical signifycance(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.MP infection is one of the major pathogens of respiratory infectious diseases of preschoolers(4-7)in Huangshan City.2.The past four years witnessed an gradual annual increase in the positive infection rate of MP with distinctive seasonal and age differences and no clear gender difference.3.A potential outbreak of MP in-fection in Huangshan city was highly possible in the year 2013.4.Clinical units and department of disease control can not afford to neglect the importance of the prevention and treatment of MP infection especially the patients from kindergartens,schools and communities.
