Objectives: To investigate the epidemiological characteristics of mycoplasma pneumoniae(MP)infection in children in the four hospitals in Yanan, and to explore the correlation between MP infection in children and air quality index. Methods: Children patients with respiratory diseases from the Affiliated Hospital of Yan'an University?Yanchang People's Hospital?Luochuan People's Hospital?Zhidan People's Hospital from January 2018 to December 2019 were recruited. All the subjects were performed the Mycoplasma Pneumoniae(MP-IgM)test.Monthly average data of air quality index(AQI)and air pollution factors(PM2.5,PM10)in Yan'an area from January 2018 to December 2019 were collected. The MP infection rates of different age groups, different genders, different years, and different seasons were analyzed. The Pearson correlation analysis and regression analysis were used to explore the correlation between MP infection in children and air quality.Statistical analysis was performed by SPSS 22.0,All tests were bilateral, and P <0.05 was statistically significant.Results:1.From January 2018 to December 2019,a total of 15,240 children with respiratory-related diseases were tested for MP,of which 3,415 were MP positive, with a positive rate of 22.41%.According to age,it is divided into baby group(28 days to 1 year old),infant group(1 year to 3 years old),preschool group(3 years to 7 years old),school age group(7 years to 14 years old),of which babies There were 4218 cases in the group, with 861 MP-positive cases, and the positive rate was 20.41%;4180 cases in the infant group, with 976 MP-positive cases, and the positive rate was 23.35%;4566 cases in the preschool group, with 1,081 MP-positive cases, and the positive rate was 23.67%;there were 2276 cases in the school age group,497 were MP positive, and the positive rate was21.84%.Statistical analysis of MP positive rates among different age groups showed that the MP positive rates were significantly different,P = 0.000.2.Divided by gender,a total of 9078 cases were detected in male children,1854 cases were MP positive, and the positive rate was 20.42%;a total of 6,162 cases weredetected in female children, and 1597 cases were MP positive, the positive rate was25.91%.Statistical analysis of MP positive rates between different gender groups showed that the MP positive rates of female children were significantly higher than that of male children, with a statistically significant difference,P = 0.000.3.Divided by age,a total of 5,725 cases were detected in 2018,with 1,244MP-positive cases, with an positive rate of 21.73%;a total of 9515 cases were detected in2019,with 2207 MP-positive cases, and the positive rate was 23.19%.Statistical analysis of MP positive rates between different years showed that the MP positive rate in 2018 was significantly different from the MP infection rate in 2019,P = 0.036.4.According to the seasons,it is divided into spring(March-May),summer(June-August),autumn(September-November),and winter(December-February).There are 3478 cases in spring,MP The number of positive cases was 653,and the positive rate was 18.78%.In the summer,3562 cases,MP-positive cases were 753,and the positive rate was 21.14%.In the autumn, there were 4128 cases,MP-positive cases were 1077,and the positive rate was 26.09%.In winter, there were 4,072 cases. There were 968 MP positive cases, and the positive rate was 23.77%.Statistical analysis of MP positive detection rates between spring, summer, autumn, and winter seasons shows that the MP positive rates in different seasons have significant statistical differences(P = 0.000),with the highest MP positive rate in autumn(26.09%).The positive rate was the lowest in spring(18.78%).5.In 2018,the highest MP positive rate was in November.A total of 531 cases were detected throughout the month. The number of MP positive cases was 159,and the positive rate reached 29.94%.The trough was in March,393 cases were detected throughout the month. The number of MP positive cases was 52.Cases,the positive rate was 13.23%.The peak of MP infection rate in the whole year of 2019 is in December.A total of 921 cases were detected throughout the month. The number of MP-positive cases was 263,and the positive rate reached 27.47%.The trough was in May,and 779 cases were detected throughout the month. The number of MP-positive cases was 143 Cases, the positive rate was 18.36%.6.Pearson correlation analysis was performed between the MP positive rate and the monthly average AQI,and the MP positive rate was positively correlated with themonthly average AQI(r = 0.463,P = 0.022).The MP positive rate and AQI were further regression analysis(B = 0.147,P = 0.022),the regression equation is obtained: MP positive detection rate(%)= 10.71 + 0.1477 * AQI;Pearson correlation analysis of MP positive rate and monthly average PM2.5,obtained The MP positive rate was negatively correlated with the monthly average PM2.5 intensity(r =-0.637,P = 0.000).Further regression analysis was performed(B =-0.340,P = 0.000)to obtain Regression equation:MP positive detection rate(%)= 30.84-0.3404 * PM2.5;Pearson correlation analysis between MP positive rate and monthly average PM10,it is found that The MP positive rate was negatively correlated with the monthly average PM10 intensity(r =-0.718,P =0.000),further regression analysis(B =-0.144,P = 0.000),the regression equation is obtained: MP positive detection rate(%)= 30.57-0.1441 * PM10.Conclusions:1.MP positive rate in girls is higher than that of boys, and the positive detection rate increases with age.It is more common in preschool children patients. The highest MP infection rates is in autumn.2.With the increase of air quality index(AQI),the positive rate of MP infection increased. With the decrease of PM2.5orPM10,The positive rate of MP increased.
