The Analysis Of 1367 Hospitalized Patients With Traumatic Fracture In The People's Liberation Army 174 Hospital Of Xiamen

Objectives The incidence ortality rate and disbility rates of trauma keep a high level,and the traumatic fracture is the most common cause.To Investigate and analysis patients with traumatic fracture of epidemiology characteristics, reveal the trait and trends of trauma in the region. To provides the objective and scientific basis for improving the level of treatment and prevevtion of traumatic fracture in the region,and reduce and prevent the occurrence of such trauma.Methods In this retrospective study, patients with Traumatic fracture from 2013.1 to 2013.12 in our The department of orthopedics were investigated. Data including sex,age, career, cause of trauma, site of trauma, time and season of trauma,type of trauma and site of wound,associated injuries and complications,etc was collected and analyzied.Results 1)There were 1367 cases of trauma patients.68.62% of them were males. 31.38% were females. the most commonly age group was 18 to 60 years (66.6%), the mean age was 38.69±19.32.2) 613 patients of traumatic fracture were workers.3)1177 Injuries were caused by road traffic injury (46.82%) and falling injury(86.10%).4) Outskirts are the most common sites of injury(70.45%)5)The injury time is mainly in the third quarter.6) Most of people go to hospital at the hour of 9 am to 5 pm (56.40%).7)The most common wound is blunt trauma (1248 cases,occupied 91.29%)?8) Extremities were the most common sites of injure (1200 cases,87.78%).9) The complication included skull and brain injury was 178 cases, the number of patients with chest injury was 57,the number of patients with abdomen injury was 11,the number of patients with urine system injury was 7, the number of patients with shock was 251,the number of patients with nerve and vessel injury was 71, and the number of patients with fat embolism was 11.10) The most common treatment is surgery(91.22%)11) 36 patients died.Conclusion In recent years,the number of trauma patients was growing. The most commonly age group was 18 to 60 years and the males were more common. The major causes of traumatic fracture are traffic accident and falling injuries; Outskirts are the most common sites of injury; Extremities were the most common sites of injure; Intensify people's sense of the daily life,work,and teaffic safety by education may decrease the incidence of traumatic fracture; Intensify people's sense of trauma care training to improve the qualite of medical,reduce the incidence of complications of traumatic fracture and reduce the mertality.
