Objective:With the increase of social competition and the popularity of the mobile phones and computers, the incidence of cervical spondylosis is rising up.The hightest incidence and the most frequent type of cervical spondylosis is cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. This article has a literature review and analysis of the pertinent literature in recent years,so we can have better knowledge on the cervical spondylotic radiculopathy'scause and pathogenesis. And by observing the improvement in the pain, the range of motion of neck, and the clinical symptoms and signs after treated with acupotome orificium externum intervertebral foramen and monolithic lysis, there can provide the clinical practice with simple fast, efficacy significantly and high safty treatments. Methods:The research selected 80 patients and were divided into control group and observation group randomly. The control group received acupuncture about 30 minutes to Fengchi acupoint,Jingjiaji corresponding points,Tianzhu,Jianjing,Houxi,Hegu and Waiguan point and TDP once a day, there are ten treatments in total. The observation group were given Acupotome Orificium Externum Intervertebral Foramen and Monolithic Lysis, once seven days, two treatments in total. Then compare the change in the state of the pain degree(VAS),the range of motion of neck and the clinical symptoms and signs(20 score methed chart) between the two groups before and after treatment. Then all the data were analyzed by Spss17.0.Results:The research finished case of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy in 79 cases.(1)In the degree of pain, compared with Pre-treatment,all the patients' pain was visily relieved(p<0.01);Aftertreatment,the difference between two groups was statistically significant(p<0.05),showing acupotome orificium externum intervertebral foramen and monolithic lysis is better to relieve the pain.(2)In the range of motion of neck, compared with Pre-treatment,the score of two groups between a statistically significant difference,(p<0.05);After treatment, the difference between two groups was not statistically significant(p>0.05),showing the two groups all can improve the patients' range of motion of neck, and the control group has equivalent efficacy with the observation group.(3)In the clinical symptoms and signs, compared with Pre-treatment, all the patients' clinical symptoms and signs was visily relieved(p<0.01); After treatment, the difference between two groups was not statistically significant(p>0.05),showing the two groups all can improve the patients' clinical symptoms and signs, and the control group has equivalent efficacy with the observation group.(4)After a course of treatment, the control group 6 cases were controlled,17 cases markedly effective,12 cases effective,5cases ineffective, the total effective rate was 87.50%;the observation group controlled 14 cases, effective in 15 cases,8 cases effective,2 cases ineffective, the total efficiency of94.87%.The two groups' total effective rate after statistical analysis, no significant difference(P>0.05).the diffence between the two groups' control rate was significant(P<0.05), the observation group was better than the control group. Conclusion:Acupotome Orificium Externum Intervertebral Foramen and Monolithic Lysis can improve the patients of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy'pain, range of motion of neck and the clinical symptoms and signs noticealy, the efficacy is clear, and with more security. And its operations times and numbers are significantly less than treated by acupuncture and TDP,.It is an effective mean for treating cervical spondylotic radiculopathy.
