Chaff is widely used in a range of agricultural equipment for straw and feed grasses.However,at present,the theoretical research on the chaff cutter is not deep enough,the cutting theory is not clear,the chaff cutter still has the problems of low productivity and large power consumption.In view of the existing problems,this paper takes the 9Z-6A plate cutter chaff cutter as an example to study the cutting process.Based on the cutting theory of corn stalk in chaff cutter,this paper study the cutting process,the productivity and the power consumption of the cutting device.According to the characteristics of corn stalk such as uneven density and fluffy,analyze the material in the cutting section of the movement and force from the point of infinitesimal body,and in a series of hypothesis,considering the motion parameters of knife,the premise of the comprehensive effect of the intrinsic parameters and structure parameters for materials,established the physical model of cutting process.The micro element of the material is established and the kinematics analysis and dynamics analysis are carried out in the cutting process,obtaining the continuity equation and kinematics equation.The solution is the mathematical model of the velocity of material movement and the mathematical model of the productivity and power consumption of the cutting device.It is calculated by MATLAB that increasing the height and width of the feed inlet,increasing the feeding amount of the material and cutting velocity can improve the productivity of the cutting device within a certain parameter range.Reducing the length and speed of the conveyor belt and the cutting speed of the material can effectively reduce the power consumption of the cutting device.This research has important realistic meaning to improve and optimize the design of the chaff cutter and improve the cutting performance of chaff cutter.
