Study On The Self-sharpening Strengthening Technology Of The Chaff Cutter Blades

Abstract/Summary:
The blades as an important part of the chaff cutter directly contact with straw. The chaff cutter’s performance was decided by good rate of the blades’performance. The wear of the blades not only increased the consumption of steel passivation, also directly influence the forage’s processing quality. In order to improve the blades’effective work time and ameliorate the forage’s processing quality, in this topic, the Q235blades’ surface were strengthen by treatment process craft of local gas carburizing quenching and lower tempering temperature; orthogonal test, had taken carburizing layer thickness and carburizing temperature and its interaction as the main test factors and taken hardness grads as indicator; Through the variance analysis, the optimal carburized temperatures of the carburized depth of0.3mm、0.6mm、0.9mm were900℃、925℃、950℃; Installed the different blades and65Mn blades into the chaff cutter and did abrasion experiment. Analyzed all kinds of blades’microstructure and hardness variation; Analyzed the transformation principle heat treatment and propose some advice on prevent heat treatment scoliosis; Analyzed the gross wear feature size wear corner radius weigh swear after abrasion test. The main conclusions are as follows:(1) The distribution of the specimens’hardness in different conditions was on the contrary v-shape; Carburized case depth had significant effect of hardness profile, the relation between carburized case depth and hardness profile was that:carburized case depth was deeper the hardness profile was smaller.(2) Heat treatment had shown:reduced carburization area、reduce hardening temperature、machine rectification and so on could reduce heat treatment transformation effectually.(3) The attrition experiment had shown:the self-sharpening effects blades ware better than which of65Mn blades, the self-sharpening effects of blades had appeared self-sharpening effects; the blades whose macro wearing characteristics corner radius wear quality were best had carburized case depth0.6mm,they could appear perfect self-sharpening effects which could better improve the life of blades and production efficiency.
