In order to explore the effects of music played by different string instruments on milk performance of lactation cows. This study selected 36 Holstein cows with same feeding and manage level. Randomly divided the cows into experimental group and control group. Each group of 18 head of cattle. The experiment have 3 period and the 3 period played music to experimental groups in proper order of the same light music witch played by cello, violin and bass. Each period lasting 40 days. Playing music for experimental group. The control group according to conventional feeding without music. Blood and milk sample were taken every 20 days.Test one shows that: Cello group can significantly increase milk yield and milk protein in 20 d, can significantly decrease milk protein in 40 d, can significantly increase lactose content in 20 d and 40 d, can significantly decrease SCC level in 20, 40 d and the whole period; Violin group can significantly increase milk yield in 20 d and the whole period, can significantly increase milk fat in 20 d, can significantly improve lactose content in 20 d.Test two shows that: Cello group can significantly reduce E2 content in whole period,can significantly reduce GH content in 20 d and the whole period; Violin group can significantly increase Gly content and significantly decrease NPY content in 40 d, can significantly reduce E2, LH content in 20 d, can significantly reduce FSH content in whole period; Bass grouup can significantly reduce NPY content in whole period, can significantly reduce PRL, GH content in 40 d.Test three shows that: Cello music can significantly increase Cre content in whole period, can significantly increase Glu content in 20 d, can significantly decreased TG content in 40 d, can significantly increase TG, TC content in the whole period; Violin group can significantly increase TP content in 40 d and the whole period, can significantly decrease Cre content in 40 d, can significantly reduce TC content in 20 d and whole period, can significantly increase CA content in 20 d, can significantly increase CA content in 20 d.Test four shows that: Cello group can significantly increase SOD content in 20 d and the whole period, can significantly increase SOD content in 40 d,can significantly increase T3 content in 20 d; Violin group can significantly increase GSH-Px level in 20 d, can significantly increase GSH-Px content in whole period,can significantly reduce MDA content in 20 d and the whole period,can significantly decrease T3 content in 20 d, can significantly increase T3 content in 40 d; Bass group can significantly increase T-AOC level and reduce MDA content in the whole period, can significantly reduce T4 content in 40 d.Conclusion: Cello group can increase milk yeil and lactose, decrease SCC content, can reduce E2, GH, TG, ALP content and increase CRE, Glu, TC, CA, SOD, T3 content; Violin group can increase milk yield, milk fat, lactose content, reduce NPY, E2, LH, FSH, CRE, TG, MDA, Gly, TP, CA, GSH-Px level. Bass music can reduce NPY, PRL, GH, MDA, T4 levels and increase LDH, CA, T-AOC level.
