In order to explore the influence of folk music, light music, pop music on milkperformance of dairy cows. Select32heads Holstein cows with similar milk yield, age, parityand lactation, were randomly divided into control group, test group, each with16heads. Atthe beginning of preliminary trial period, test group played music, The control group were fedroutinely. The experiment was divided into Pre test period of7days,60days in trial period.Determined the milk yield, blood sample and milk sample once every10days.Experiment Ⅰ showed that: From0to60days, the milk yield of folk music group wasdecreased by14.43%compared with the control group, which was significantdifference(P<0.01).The number of SCC in folk music group was increased by155.87%、115.61%in test50and60days respectively, which were significant difference(P<0.01). From0to60days, the number of SCC in folk music group was lower by45.14%than the controlgroup, the difference was significant (P<0.01).Experiment Ⅱ showed that: the milk yield of light music group was higher than thecontrol group by1.72㎏, which was significant difference(P<0.01). In experiment10,40days, the average milk yield of light music group was increased with3.39,3.43kg comparedwith the control group, the difference was significant (P<0.05). From0to60days, thenumber of SCC in light music group was higher than the control group by28×104/mL, whichwas significant difference(P<0.01).Experiment Ⅲ showed that: from0to60days, the average milk yield of pop musicgroup was lower than the control group by0.73percent; the count of SCC in pop musicgroup was increased by5.58%compared with the control group; the content of milk butter-fatin pop music group was increased by0.01%compared with the control group; the content ofmilk lactose in pop music group was increased by0.01%compared with the control group;the content of milk protein in pop music group was increased by0.02%compared with thecontrol group, but the differences were not significant(P>0.05).Conclusion: Folk music could significantly reduce milk yield and improve the number ofSCC, folk music had little influence on the content of lactose, milk fat and milk protein. Lightmusic could improve the milk yield and reduce the count of somatic cells, but it had littleinfluence on the content of milk component. Pop music could improve the milk yield andreduce the count of SCC, but its actuation duration and effect were limited, the effect of popmusic on the content of milk composition was not obvious.
