The integral abutment curved box girder bridge with small radius(IACBBSR)is an innovative structure based on the design concept of applying integral abutment to conventional small radius curved box bridge.In order to understand the structural behavior of IACBBSR,the study on the characteristics of deformations and internal forces and core design details of IACBBSR was carried out.The research results may be some of foundations for further engineering application.The main contents in this thesis were as follows:1.The development process,application and research status of the integral abutment were summarized,and IACBBSR was proposed.2.The basic construction forms and characteristics of the integral abutment bridge were illustrated.3.Taking a conventional curved box girder bridge with spans of 3×16m as the prototype,the trial design on IACBBSR was presented and the finite element models of the bridge and IACBBSR considering structure-soil interaction were established based on Midas civil and.With the use of experimental results,the accuracy of the beam gird analysis method for a curved box girder bridge was verified.And the difference between the IACBBSR and the traditional curved concrete box girder bridge was analyzed.4.According to the structure characteristics of IACBBSR,the influence of parameters on the deformations and internal forces of IACBBSR was studied,including radius of curvature,bridge width,soil type and abutment height.5.Based on ABAQUS program,a space model including entirety abutment,piles,straps and filling soil interaction was established,and the condition of the stress distribution was analyzed.Meanwhile,the treatment of reflective cracks caused by thermal effect should be noted.
