Formula SAE CHINA(FSC)is a competition which is participated by College student who major in automotive engineering, the content of the competition is car designing and manufacturing.FSC has been adhering to the concept-"created in China, with the future"-since it firstly started in 2010.It now becomes a platform for China's college students to make use of professional knowledge they've learned,to show ego creation ability and improve engineering quality.Powertrain is the core for the competition,it directly determines the performance and the results,so,researches based on the vehicle powertrain matching is essential. This paper took the car manufactured by DONGFENG HUAT racing(2015)as the object, carried out vehicle matching, simulation modeling and experiment on the participating vehicles, based on the characteristics and rules of the competition. This paper firstly described the characteristics of FSC racing car, structure principle, design flow and key technology; Then, concentrated on the powertrain matching, and completed the vehicle matching calculation and the key component selection;used AVL-CRUISE simulation software to complete simulation modeling and simulation of car power and economic competition project, the simulation results meets the vehicle performance indicators.According to the 2015 competition rules and the national test standards,I developed four vehicle test for the FSC racing. The experimental results are as follows: the maximum speed is 114.896km/h,the 75 m straight line accelerates 4.237 s,and the durable time is 1244.934 s,which satisfies the design goal. The fuel consumption is 21.32L/100 km,which is far different from the simulation result. This paper analyzes the causes and puts forward the improvement scheme.
