Modern Buddhist Cultural Landscape In South Yangtze River Area

With more than 30 years of reform and opening up,economy has been developed rapidly,and China’s economy has entered a new normal situation,while Chinese culture has also entered Revival Period.The traditional culture has become another manifestation of national strength,furthermore,religious activities have also been grown unprecedentedly,especially The Modern Buddhism,mainly represented by Manly Buddhism Thoughts,developed vividly in China.Buddhists and related tourism activities have become important carriers for the development of Buddhist Buddhism thought.As a result,the modern Buddhist cultural landscape,as a new form of landscape,comes into the public view.However,there are more or less problems in the development and practice of modern Buddhist cultural landscape.Aiming to represent Solemnity in Buddhism,with the help of modern engineering technology,the Buddhist cultural landscape has huge volume and high cost,on the contrary to Buddhist values of simplicity.On the other hand,the modern Buddhist cultural landscape design form is relatively simple,part of the modern Buddhist cultural landscape is relatively similar to the local Buddhist culture is superficial.How to better convey the Buddhist culture and the healthy development of modern Buddhist cultural landscape becomes a realistic and urgent research topic of landscape.In this paper,South Yangtze River modern Buddhist cultural landscape as the main research object,is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which defines and distinguishes the research object and category of this paper,and analyzes the framework of the research.From the beginning of the second chapter to the Buddhist culture as a clue,summarizes and reviews the Buddhist temple garden in South Yangtze River followed,namely: Tower hall type – Tayuan type-Daoxuan style-Baizhang style – Wushan shisha style-after Baizhang style in South Yangtze River temple evolution and characteristics of landscape.The third chapter expounds the modern Buddhist cultural landscape in Jiangnan area.With the change of social background and economic conditions,the influence of Buddhism modernization,especially under the influence of "humanistic Buddhism",it is inspired by the modern Buddhist cultural landscape in other areas,and inherited Jiangnan ancient Buddhist Temple gardens the evolution of features.The fourth chapter as the focus of this paper,proposed modern Buddhist cultural landscape design strategies and methods.First of all,what is the modern Buddhist culture landscape in Jiangnan area,distinguishing it from the modern Buddhist temple gardens and other areas of modern Buddhist cultural landscape difference,and secondly from the design strategy,highlight the Jiangnan region modern Buddhist cultural landscape charity characteristics and religious service characteristics,and finally Based on the landscape expression,this paper elaborates and analyzes the design pattern and design concept of modern Buddhist cultural landscape in Jiangnan area from the aspects of site selection,layout,terrain,water management,plant and architecture.The fifth chapter analyzes the present situation of modern Buddhist cultural landscape in Jiangnan area from the theory to the reality,analyzes and analyzes four representative modern Buddhist cultural landscapes in Jiangnan area,so as to show the present Situation of Buddhist Cultural Landscape status of Jiangnan as soon as possible.In the sixth chapter,based on the present situation of the Buddhist cultural landscape mentioned above,this paper analyzes the shortcomings of the modern Buddhist cultural landscape in Jiangnan area and puts forward some suggestions.It is hoped that the modern Buddhist cultural landscape in Jiangnan area can be developed and constructed reasonably and avoid blind investment,with a single design pattern,deepen and excavate the cultural characteristics of Buddhism in the region,truly return to the essence of modern Buddhist cultural landscape,spread the Buddhist culture through landscape,Better serve the community.
