Research On The Creation Of Xi’an Buddhist Temple Garden Space Basedon Place Spirit

The world of Xi’an,its greatness,its rule." At present,driven by the commercialization of the original Buddhist temple in Xi’an,the environmental space and cultural space living in the Buddhist temple garden have undergone tremendous changes.In addition to a national key cultural relic protection unit that can repair and protect,most of the Buddhist temple landscapes have been generally established,decayed,fragmented in the air,and cultural display is disconnected.This paper considers the garden of Xianfo Temple as the research object,and explores the precise connotation and construction project of places in the garden of Xi’an Buddhist Temple,which is passed on to the garden of Buddhist temple to provide reference.Using theoretical knowledge such as environmental psychology,perceptual theory and landscape semiotics,this paper explores the methods of garden construction in Xi’an Buddhist temple by combing through relevant literature at home and abroad,and combines with field research on typical Buddhist temples in Xi’an,paying attention to the accuracy of its places.In view of this,this paper takes the spiritual theory of place as the guide,and based on the functional characteristics of Buddhist temple architecture in Buddhist temple gardens,the garden sites of Xi’an Buddhist temple are divided into three places: worship and sacrifice places,Dharma propagation meditation places and landscape recreation places.After combing the literature of Xi’an Buddhist temple,the paper argues that the spirit of Buddhist temple gardens should be defined by a specific environment and subject perception.Therefore,it is also big.Under the guidance of the spiritual theory of place,the garden of Xi’an Buddhist Temple focuses on the creation of a sense of place in the landscape space,and the connection between materials,people and events in the landscape space to stimulate the sense of people,identity and belonging.This paper summarizes the spatial design strategies of modern Buddhist temple gardens from the perspective of place spirit,and puts forward the direction of thinking that can be used for reference in the future protection and transformation of Buddhist temple gardens.
