Study Of Restricted Use Technical Requirements For Decommissioned Uranium Mining And Metallurgy Facilities

In order to use the land resource adequately and release the land occupied by restricted use decommissioned uranium mining and metallurgy facilities,this paper studied the type and utilization ways of restricted use facilities and analyzed the radiation effect of each utilization way.Based on the studies and analysis,the technical requirements and relevant matters of using the restricted use facilities were proposed.Firstly,combining the findings of field investigation,the project information of completed uranium mining and metallurgy decommissioning project was used to identify the decommissioned facilities’ potential utilization ways.And then,the environment monitoring data of project acceptance was used to estimate the radiation effect of each utilization way,and the basis of proposing different utilization way’s technical requirements was provided.Finally,according to the studies and analysis,the technical requirements and limited condition of using restricted use facilities were presented,and the limitation and problems of the study were discussed.
