Schedule management is an important part of project management,and having closely related to economic benefits and time efficiency.By the application of network plan and management software is greatly improving the management level of project progress.But in the case of large quantities of engineering and complicated engineering projects,the actual construction progress and scheduling are not consistent with the plan.With the maturity and application of BIM technology,it provides a new inspiration for schedule management.The BIM technology was introduced to the project schedule management,which can improve the ability of managers to control and reduce the risk of delays,and improve the efficiency of management,indirect create numerous economic benefits.BIM technology and progress management are used as the main research objects,and emphasized the implementation of BIM technology in the project schedule management.Firstly,analyzed the traditional progress management theory and technology,and introduce the main contents of BIM technology and BIM software.Secondly,introducing BIM technology to the progress management,and established the progress management model based on BIM technology.The specific methods and steps of BIM technology in the realization of progress management were analyzed.Then,by establishing 3D model of a practical project,adding progress information to the four-dimensional schedule management platform of the project was completed.Finally,the advantage of BIM technology was shown by comparing the difference of progress management whether or not used BIM technology.Through combining BIM technology with the progress management,the validity of this method through practical engineering was proved.This method has certain theoretical significance and practical value for practical engineering application.
