Safe operation of rail vehicles requires a stable and reliable infrastructure system as a guarantee.The railway line complete profile refers to the track bed section,the outline of the bridge and tunnel and the height of the catenary,timely inspection of the railway line complete profile is the basis of ensuring the safety of the rail traffic.With the increase of electrified lines and the continuous increase of operation mileage,the traditional manual contact measurement has been unable to meet the actual demand of the rail traffic field.This paper has developed a railway complete profile trolley detection system which is installed on the self-designed track inspection trolley.The system uses laser ranging measuring to detect the railway complete profile with laser distance sensors as measuring element and analysis the performance of the rail infrastructure along the line whose results would provide the basis for the maintenance of the rail infrastructure.This paper introduces the scheme of the trolley-installed dectection system for railway line complete profile,which is installed on the track inspection trolley to collect the complete profile in the process of moving,and coordinate conversion,data storage and graphic display are processed by the computer.The system takes the laser ranging sensor ranging sensor as the main measuring unit to measure the spatial position relationship between the object and the sensor,and the complete profile are drawn in the track reference coordinate system after coordinate conversion.In order to achieve the correspondence between the complete profile and the trolley location,then add the function of location based on the encoder,so that the system would form the data model and realize the detection of the complete profile.This paper mainly studies the rail wear detection and the structure gauge invasion detection after obtaining the complete profile.A registration algorithm of rail profile with adaptive smoothing filter and improved ICP algorithm is proposed in this paper to realize the problem of rail wear detection.Firstly,the data of multiple laser triangulation sensors is drawn in the same coordinate by coordinate conversion,then the adaptive smoothing filter and improved ICP algorithm would register the collected profile and the standard profile,finally this paper calculate the wear amount at the rail wear detection point according to the definition and judge the wear damage situation by the wear amount.The problem of the structure gauge invasion detection is transformed into the geometric problem of the relationship between the point and the polygon.The laser scanning sensor is used to collect the section within 300 degree range except the bottom of the trolley,and the profile is drawn in the track reference coordinate.The radial judge method is proposed to judge whether the contour points are inside the gauge polygon and determine whether there is any invasion.If there is an invasion,this calculate the nearest distance of the penetration point from the polygon as an invasion limit.The trolley-installed dectection system was carried out in the laboratory environment and the circular railway comprehensive test base,verify the performance of the system.And the experiment results shows this system can effectively collect the railway complete profile.The accuracy of rail wear detection can be up to ±0.10mm,and the detection precision of the tunnel contour is within ±4mm,which can be effectively identified for the object of the emplacement.
