It is an effective way of improving transport capacity to develop of heavy-haul railway. With the increase of the axle load, the wheel-rail interaction is severe, the track structure is destroyed seriously, and the wear between wheel and rail is more and more serious, as results to shorten the service life of the wheel and rail.In order to reduce the wear between wheel and rail and prolong the rail service life, this paper studies the influences of the track structure and rail profile on the wheel-rail interaction, furthermore, the measurements are put forward to reduce the wear and the interaction.Firstly, by means of a software SIMPACK, the model of a heavy-haul vehicle is put forword, in which the wedge has three translation freedoms, the friction force is calculated by the pressure in the normal direction, the effect of the main and subsidiary friction pair is taken into account, and wheel/rail profiles are installed by the measured profiles. According to the measured results, the model of freight car is verified.Results show that the research effort should be focused on the profile of rail.Secondly, the influence of the parameters of track structure on the negotiation of vehicle is analyzed. It is beneficial for the deficient superelevation to improve the steering ability and reduce the steering pressure of the leading wheelset. The adjustment of rail cant can change the wheel/rail contact geometry and increase the radius difference and the contact angle, as help to improve the curve negotiation of vehicle.Thirdly, the effect of the rail profile on the negotiation of vehicle is studied. The modification of the rail profile can change the distribution of the contact point. Taking the profile of 75kg/m for example, the feasible profiles are proposed by the calculated results.Lastly, according to the advocated measurements, the test section is set in curved track. The measurements are effective through a period of observation in practical.
