The port has the role of logistics distribution,and its distribution center for the city and the country’s economic development has an important impact,especially in the international trade process,90%of the goods are transported through the port.Port equipment in the operation of the port is essential,the use of equipment operations to complete the accumulation of goods,loading and unloading,transport and other basic business port,so the equipment control problem is to promote the development of the port one of the important research direction.The core of the equipment is equpment spare parts,to strengthen the control of port equipment spare parts should also be taken seriously.In the scientific and technological innovation today,the development trend of port equipment has become increasingly clear,and constantly moving toward automation,complexity,large-scale,high efficiency,precision of the d:irection of development.The improvement of the equipment will inevitably lead to the equipment parts more complex,sophisticated and more diversified species,resulting in the difficulty of forecasting and control of spare parts increased,has become an urgent need to solve the problem.First of all,this paper introduces the port material management and DPCM container terminal related content and research significance,and then through the domestic and foreign equipment spare parts inventory control related research results put forward the research ideas and the overall framework,The basic concepts are described in detail,including the relevant overview of inventory control,the related concepts of port equipment spare parts control,zero inventory and the classification of spare parts,which provides a sufficient theoretical basis for the follow-up research.Secondly,the status quo of procurement and inventory control in DPCM equipment spare parts control process is studied and the problems are found.Based on the comparison of several commonly used forecasting models,the most suitable model is selected to forecast the demand,and the "supply positioning model" is used to classify the spare parts of the equipment,and the spare parts are divided into The four categories are daily parts,key parts,lever pieces and bottleneck pieces.This method also considers the inventory characteristics of DPCM equipment spare parts and the surrounding factors of DPCM,and notes the problems that have been taken into account before.Finally,from the procurement and control of the two parts given for the DPCM container terminal equipment inventory management improvements,is conducive to improving the port’s future management standards and development.
